Pau Pizza

They have signs for breakfast burritos but never actually serve them. The pizza is some of the worst Ive had and the service and workers are snotty and difficult to deal with. I keep wishing they would just go out of business so we can get a better run restaurant in its place but somehow they keep hanging on and so this review is on the hopes that future people just avoid it so they can finally close and open up the space for something far better.

Passing through Waimea and utterly glad we popped in to grab a ‘Whole Hog’ and WOW is it delicious! The crust was thin and perfecto; a little crispy on the outside and just the right amount of soft. Also fresh crispy salads, we will totally be back!

Our favorite pizza on the island. Similar to a good East Coast pizza, and great salads to go along side your pizza. Oh and they have the most awesome breakfast burritos! Grab a take out pizza and salad drop down to hapuna for a sunset beach picnic and you have a perfect experience.

Wow, this place was awesome! I wish I had taken photos, but we were so hungry from a long day, we gobbled up our food before I could even think to take pics. My husband and I shared a superfood salad, slice of cheese pizza, and an Italian sandwich. The salad was FULL of good stuff, and the dressing was very flavorful. I would suggest requesting an extra dressing if you are getting a large salad - it really needs two. The pizza crust was light and airy, with the perfect crunch. Really good pizza sauce, and just the right ratio of crust, sauce, and cheese. The Italian sandwich was our favorite. Flavorful meat and spread, but the ultimate winner is the bread. Tastes like it came right out of the oven! Crunchy but soft, and a nice crispy cheese topping. We will definitely be coming back!

Wow. Just how amazing can pizza be? Such good crust and toppings. Crispy and crunchy with good structure and mouth watering sourdough taste! The bread is also superb - as a middling sourdough baker I am green with envy at how good it is. If you want pizza and are anywhere nearby, this is the place to get it.

Gosh, their veggie pesto sourdough pizza is hand down one of the tastiest slices I have eaten. They bring out new ones and they get sold out in less than 10 mins. The man at the counter was super helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Loved this place!!

We tried the veggie pizza slices and the veggie breakfast burrito—both were awesome. The ulu (local breadfruit) burrito was surprisingly amazing. I’ve never had anything like it, but I couldn’t stop eating it. Definitely recommend!

This pizza is amazing! Just the right size and just crispy enough! Unfortunately it disappeared before I made it home! And it was delicious! The desserts at this place are off the hook amazing!! If you are a pizza crust connoisseur like me, you will love this pizza! The crust is a masterpiece. Thin and crispy, yet soft and fluffy. We got the build your own with red sauce and it had great flavor. They weren't skimpy with the toppings like some places. I phoned in an order and it was ready in 25 minutes, as promised. Believe me about that crust. I'm from NY! I know an excellent pie when I taste one!
