We stopped in on Saturday and were met by some of the friendliest ladies we met on our entire trip. The samples were excellent and directly influenced on what we bought and and brought home with us. I'd go back here in a heart beat if I ever find myself back on the big island.

We had such a great experience at Hāmākua Macadamia! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the service was amazing from start to finish. They offered samples of just about everything, which made the visit so fun and helped us discover new favorites. We ended up buying their delicious ice cream and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

What a great find. Pretty cool to see a Macadamia nut processing plant in action. Lots of samples and the milk chocolate Kona coffee glaze are too good for words. It’s probably the reason I’ll return to Hawaii.

Fantastic choices of flavored mac nuts as well as other yummy treats. The kona coffee brittle won't break your teeth. Friendly staff. Will ship to the mainland. Excellent local place. A must go!!

Only had a quick stop here but loved it! All the flavours are free to taste and one of the store workers came up to talk to me which was very nice as that doesn’t happen often in London! Also a small educational area where you can learn more about the nuts at your own pace and can see into the factory.

One of the best parts of the experience is the generosity with samples. They let you try every single flavor of their macadamia nuts, which is both a blessing and a challenge because they are all delicious! Whether you prefer savory, sweet, or classic roasted, you’ll definitely find a favorite (or five). To top it all off, the location is stunning. You can enjoy your treats while taking in a beautiful, panoramic view of the ocean. It’s the perfect spot to relax, snack, and soak in the island scenery. Highly recommended for the great service, tasty nuts, and unbeatable views!

Mahalo for all the great experience and tasty nuts! Make sure you stop by for this tasty souvenir, they are reasonably priced and easy to pack in suitcase. They provide shipping services too for large purchases.

We had such a wonderful experience visiting this macadamia nut factory in Hawaii! The staff were incredibly kind—truly some of the nicest people we’ve met. It happened to be our son’s birthday, and to our surprise and delight, they even sang him a happy birthday song. It was such a sweet, memorable gesture. The factory offers a free self-guided tour where you can stroll around, peek through the glass windows to see the production area, and watch a short video that explains how macadamia nuts are harvested and processed—really interesting and well done. There are generous free samples, too! We got to try all sorts of flavors—macadamia nuts covered in caramel, Spam seasoning, birthday cake, and more. Everything was delicious. They also sell tasty macadamia nut ice cream, which was a perfect treat on a warm Hawaiian day. Highly recommend stopping by—great for families and anyone who loves friendly vibes and tasty treats!
