We ate at KP about a month ago. Prime Rib was delicious but the Pork Chops were WAY over peppered. The Prime Rib was served with French Fries, they were soggy, tasted like old, fishy fryer oil. We ate at KP again last night. Service on patio was fantastic, server was very attentive. I ordered a basket of fries while waiting for the arrival of my company - they weren't as bad as last time but still soggy, not the best. I had the Beef Stroganoff for dinner - OMG, it was SO salty. I also thought the beef tasted off or old. I wound up bringing the Beef Stroganoff home as leftovers and figured I would doctor it up at home to sort of ease the saltiness of it. Well, turns out, the beef was most likely trash BC I threw up after eating it. I generally think of KP as a good place to eat in SOKO, but after my last two experiences I feel there is something off in the kitchen. I am not leaving this review to complain, I just think Management needs to keep a closer eye on their kitchen. I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and understand things like this happen.

This place has amazing burgers for happy hour. I always order medium, which can be underdone depending on the cook. The service depends on how busy they are, some servers are better than others. We usually go for happy hour, so that is probably the difference. Definitely recommend!

All was good but jerk playing pool. Brought his dog in. Left it alone. I was petting it. Then he came over yelling at me. Dont touch my dog. Leave him alone. Made a scene. Was embarrassing for me when I was just concerned about the animal.

Love the atmosphere , portions size , prices and music! Especially Uncle Charlie Band and Johnny Shot. Great place to dance . Taco Tuesday is packed. Everyone wants to eat early. Go later . .at the risk of no more Ono...

The taco Tuesday Ono fish tacos were great! There was a lot of fish in each one and a great sauce.. My wife liked the margarita special and the owner was super friendly too. Thanks!

Great hidden gem! You can either sit in the bar or out on the patio. Great breeze and it's quieter. Had the Cobb salad, it was huge and delicious! My husband had the one fish and chips and it was AMAZING! Huge portion and delicious.

They improved the patio with bamboo fencing. It cuts off the cool breezes. It makes for a more comfortable dining outside at night. Great happy hour Mai Tais! The bacon half pound cheddar cheese burger with fries was more than enough for the two of us! It was a wonderful delicious meal. I had the special Thursday pork chop dinner for less than $20. It was a rainy evening and we sat inside. People were watching sports and playing pool and enjoying their meals. For my wife, she enjoyed the large burger, but doesn't enjoy the restaurant noise. The restaurant is south of the town of Kailua-Kona. Check out the specials for the day and save money while doing it!
