Fairway Grill

The food was okay, the chicken was really good but the poke was not so great. I would have given it a 3 star but we got food poisoning from the chicken. We had a larger group and the servers we did not seem to be happy with us.

Golf course restaurants run the gamut from casual to luxury. This one was casual. The clients were local families on a Saturday night, always a good sign. The food was good, not great. The staff was amazingly polite and friendly, but it did take a bit longer than expected to get our food. All in all for a casual affordable place in Hilo, this is a good choice

Nice little restaurant right on the golf course! Big windows, plenty of seating, full bar, and good menu. We went for breakfast and both dishes were very good. Going to go back and try their lunch and or dinner menu. Food came out fast and prices were reasonable.

I recently visited this hotel with my family, and honestly, the experience was amazing. The quality of the food was excellent, and the taste was outstanding. We tried several items including burgers and sandwiches, and every dish was fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. What I liked the most was that everyone in my family was very satisfied with the food. The environment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for dining with family. For anyone looking for high-quality food with great taste, this hotel is definitely a great choice. I would love to visit again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My negative experience at this place: I ordered a salad with a piece of pork, specifically asking the waiter for it to be less sweet since I don't eat sugar, and brown rice separately. I received a plate of finely chopped, burnt bitter pork in a SWEET sauce, with only lettuce leaves instead of the assorted salad on the menu, and pearl barley porridge instead of brown rice. The prices was okay, but the food was tasteless. I don't know how this place has such a high rating.

Went for a surprise birthday party. Lots of friendly staff. Food was awesome. We couldn't tape things but their suggestion worked out perfectly.

Was looking for a spot to grab a quick bite as we went thru Hilo. The main road was closed and the side areas had no food stops so Quick Look at google maps and found the Fairway Grill at the golf course. It was very quiet on Wednesday at 1:30p but service was friendly and fast. Had the brisket sandwich with fries and appetizer longanisa sausage. Both very tasty and a good value for the price. Nice to watch the golfers and the dining area is huge. Good place for a relaxing lunch at a fair price

Loved eating by the golf course. Wished we had time and money to go a round. The food was very good. We purchased teriyaki chicken, a burger and street tacos. My favorite part of the meal were the fries! But there was such a limited amount provided. Disappointing. The tacos did not have a lot of flavor, but were good enough. The chicken had more fatty pieces than necessary, but the flavor was really nice. The burger was good.
