Antics Pizza and Games
About
Fuel Your Arcade Ambitions
Located in the heart of Hilo, Antics Pizza and Games serves as the town’s go-to spot for those who equate a great slice with high scores. The floor plan is dominated by the glowing hum of classic arcade cabinets, creating an environment that feels less like a polished dining room and more like a high-energy hangout from a bygone era.
The Pie and The Play
This isn't your average pizza joint. The menu focuses on hearty, shareable pies that hold up well while you are juggling a controller or waiting for your turn on a machine. The dough has a reliable chew, and they aren't shy with the toppings, making it a favorite for local families and groups of friends looking to burn off steam after a long week. You might notice the room gets pretty loud when the games are in full swing—this is a place for laughter and competitive shouting, not quiet conversation.
Hilo’s Neighborhood Gaming Hub
Whether you are chasing a new leaderboard record on a vintage machine or just need a satisfying dinner, the atmosphere stays casual and unpretentious. The layout is compact, and while parking in this part of Hilo requires a bit of patience, the trade-off is an authentic, local-first experience. Expect the smell of bubbling cheese and hot pepperoni to hit you as soon as you step through the door, perfectly accompanied by the digitized bleeps and bloops of the arcade floor. It is a loud, unapologetic slice of Hilo nostalgia that puts the fun back into dinner out.

READ IF YOU ARE GLUTEN FREE I called before and asked if they had cauliflower crust and they said yes (yay!). The vibe of this place was super cool so I’m bummed to share the next part. When the young waitress came to take our order I asked how big their cauliflower crust was and she said 12 inches. My husband and I ordered that to share and asked for pepperoni toppings. When the pizza came I made the mistake of not confirming it was gluten free. We had to catch a flight so my husband and I basically inhaled the pizza and asked to pay. When my husband read the receipt he noticed it didn’t read cauliflower crust. The waitress said “umm, let me check with the kitchen” and hen she confirmed it was a regular crust. She was not apologetic and said “well, I repeated the order and I didn’t charge the $8”. I don’t believe she realized the severity of the situation as my husband rushed back to me and told me to “stop eating!” so I spit out the pizza. She was not interested in making things right so my husband paid the tab and we immediately left feeling blindsided. ***I suggest speaking with the chef and a manager if you are gluten free so you don’t have to experience a health scare like I did.

Amazing pizza place. It tastes really good with crispy pizza dough like New York style. Staff is kind and vibe is sick. For 3 people, 16inch is recommended. Good thing is that you can customize the pizza.

Fun place! The pizza was pretty good. The games were fun. The console at the first table we sat at didn’t work, but it wasn’t very busy so we moved to another table.

The cheese pizza here was great and service was prompt, progressional and friendly. The gaming stations make it super attractive for the kids. Overall triple thumbs for this place!

As my partner would tell you, this is the best vegan pizza she has ever had. I don't disagree. The flavours worked and all pizzas are fully customisable. The menu looks a bit confusing at first but you can basically make your own and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We went on a weekday evening so we were the only clients there, which made the atmosphere somewhat dull but on a Friday or a weekend I bet this place is buzzing!

So glad we found this place. Atmosphere was very fun and unique with individual gaming stations at each table. Good tunes and amazing pizza. Garlic knots were a bit bland for my taste but the pizza is divine ans great service!

I’m an 80s baby and this place brought me back to my childhood. Every table except the center of the room has game stations you can play on from NES to PS5. Food was fresh and there wasn’t an item that we ordered, we didn’t like. On top of all that the service was outstanding. Only thing that made me sad was that they didn’t serve ramen everyday, only one weekend a month. Aside from that, I will definitely be coming back and recommending this placing to everyone.

Very friendly and good food. I think they must prioritize carry-out over dine-in customers because we were seated (after a short wait on a Sunday evening) and waited several minutes for someone to take our order. Then we waited close to an hour before our food came out. They were apologetic, but that's a long time to wait, especially when you see folks walking in and leaving with pizzas dozens of times while you sit there. Just a little warning it's going to be that long would be appreciated, especially when there's a sign saying you can't occupy a table more than an hour and 15 minutes. But the pizza was good. We especially liked the Cinnamon-Sugar Daddies (cinnamon & sugar dusted pizza dough knots served with icing). Appreciated they were careful with a gluten-free (celiac) order as well.
