Was able to find Mexican food in Hawaiʻi. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was okay. The tortillas and chips were a bit stale, and It was a bit bland. It was also a bit overpriced for the amount you get.

The food was really good here and fresh! The prices aren't bad either for the quality. Luckily when I went it wasn't too busy. I can definitely see there being a wait on a busy day. The Carne asada steak taco was delectable. I would definitely eat here again.

WOW! A wonderful place for authentic Mexican food! We sampled a little of everything and it was all great! Healthy meals at a great price! For those wanting to eat healthier these meals are not fried! Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The inside is very clean. Located in downtown Hilo and a hub of variety of restaurants from all over the world. Parking is on the opposite side of the main street entrance. If you are in the Hilo area stop by Amigo's Taqueria! Note: The name Taqueria is a Mexican restaurant that specializes in Tacos and Burritos! 5 out of 5 stars! !

Delicious Mexican food for a fair price. We went in for a quick lunch and were surprised by the amount of vegetarian options. The menu options can easily be uniquely configured to include various types of meat or tofu as well as additional sauce. The food was speedily brought to our table and the service was friendly. I had lengua nachos. The lengua was ok, I've had better. The chips were stale and the presentation looked unappealing. Was served with watered down sour cream, guacamole, flavorless and old pico de guillo. Had the avocado salsa with it which was too salty. The Chipotle salsa was good tho. I took a nap after finishing the nachos and had bubble guts. Went to the toilet a few times.
