Black Rock Pizza - Captain Cook

Black rock pizza has to be one of the best places to eat in the whole Island!! I’m so happy we decided to stop here. Happy friendly staff and incredible food!! We started with the pepperoni rolls… AMAZING!! Super hot, flavorful, fresh and cheesy. The marinara sauce perfectly balances the whole thing. We also ordered two personal pizzas so we could share. We got the Maui waui because we wanted Hawaiian and it was so yummy! It also had pepperoni and jalapeños which was delicious. Also got the chicken bacon ranch with buffalo sauce!! They also add jalapeños and let me tell you… it was perfect. Each bite was pizza and food heaven. The pizza dough is very bouncy and chewy so perfect. I also got their Li hing margarita.. it was delicious and strong!! This is the kind of place you keep talking about days after your meal. Would love to go back and try their other pizzas which I know will also be so good.

Black Rock Pizza is an amazing establishment that should earn way more than 5 stars. We are here vacationing from SoCal and can say, hands-down, this is one of the best places for comfort food and welcoming vibes. Our server was very sweet and helpful! We got two personal size pizzas to share, along with Pesto Bread Balls, and a few drinks each. Everything was TOP TIER! We are only hear until Tuesday afternoon and are considering coming back for another round! Thank you, again!!

Awesome little place for eating pizza and grabbing a cold beer. They have large selection of pizzas and multiple variety of cocktails and beers. Very friendly staff. Pizza tasties very good. One of the best pizzas I've ever had

Glad the recommendations were true. After messing up ordering online they were more than helpful to get things resolved. I will call them directly from now on so I can’t mess it up 🤣. It was a joyful atmosphere with a great view of the kitchen. I am into cooking and really enjoyed watching all the yummy ingredients being put together but nothing beats the amazing smells. Everything we ordered was delicious! I highly recommend 💕

This hillside restaurant with great ocean and sunset views has outstanding pepperoni rolls, pizza selections and chocolate or peanut butter cannoli to finish your dining experience. The service was great and expedient. The margaritas and local beers are also delicious.

We had a delicious meal and a great experience at Black Rock Pizza. Our waiter recommended the local favorites and we got a large with half and half. Outstanding!! Well definitely return

Delicious pizza! Thick, crispy and chewy crust. Plenty of flavorful sauce. Service was pro. Back patio was enjoyable.

Try the pepperoni rolls! They're addictive, maybe even better than the pizza (which was creative and delicious). We had great service on the lovely patio with a lilikoi watermelon lemonade. Yum! Sassy signs inside and a few friendly kitties hanging around add to the ambience.

What a gem! Decided to check out Black Rock due to proximity to the hotel and good reviews… it did not disappoint! Easy drive to the location. Parking was easily accessible. Entered the front and was shown right to a table outside to check out the sunset. Our server was outstanding! Really helped with expediting our kid’s dinner. Friendly and thorough service all the way around! The pepperoni rolls were worth it! We opted for the Not So Hawaiian pizza, with added some red and banana peppers to the traditional namesake. Pretty good crust and toppings were very fresh. I would definitely frequent this restaurant if I lived in the area. 5 stars!

Excellent pizza place! We ordered an ABC Pizza, a Make Your Own pizza (red sauce, sausage, black olives, with a pesto drizzle), Garlic Butter Breadsticks, and Ube Haupia Cannoli. Our service was great. The pizza dough/breadsticks were top notch. Clearly made from scratch dough. The ABC Pizza was my favorite, with an excellent creamy white sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked and paired well with the other toppings. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The red sauce pizza was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had a nice herded flavor to it. The last item, the Cannoli, was fabulous. Crispy cannoli shell and a creamy sweet ube filling was a nice blending of Hawaiian and Italian. This is another item I wouldn't miss. Overall, it was an excellent pizza place that I would go to over and over.
