About
A Slurp-Worthy Escape in Mililani
Finding a bowl of authentic ramen in the heart of Mililani often leads locals to this understated gem on Kipapa Drive. Unlike the high-gloss, neon-lit noodle shops found in Waikiki, Nagoya Ramen embraces a modest, functional aesthetic that keeps the focus squarely on the broth. When you walk in, the immediate scent of slow-simmered pork bones and toasted garlic hits you—a comforting, savory signal that they haven't cut corners on their base stocks.
Why the Locals Keep Returning
This is the spot for a casual lunch or a low-key dinner when you crave heat and salt. Their signature Tonkotsu broth is notable for its cloudy, creamy depth, achieving that perfect coat-the-spoon consistency without being overly greasy. While the menu leans heavily into classic shoyu and miso varieties, the spicy iterations manage to offer a genuine kick that builds rather than overpowers the palate.
Practical Realities of Your Visit
Be aware that space is at a premium here; it’s an intimate setup, which means during peak dinner hours, you might find yourself waiting for a seat or navigating a bit of a squeeze. Parking in this part of Mililani can occasionally feel like a game of musical chairs, but the proximity to local residential pockets makes it a convenient neighborhood staple for Central Oahu residents.
Expect efficient, no-nonsense service that gets the job done. If you are looking for a place to linger for hours, this might not be your venue, but if your priority is a steaming, soul-warming bowl of noodles served fast, it hits the mark every time.

Had the spam, egg and fried garlic rice 👌 and took some fresh baked goodies to go that are as soft as butter! Joanne was great at recommending which baked goods were popular and she was very friendly! This place will definitely be a staple for me

Our review on Nagoya Ramen. At the Mililani Shopping Center. You can get a nice hot meal over there. And the menu is so varied you can have fried rice you can have noodles you can have stir fry. You can get baked goods too they have manapua. I like the Mobo Tofu Ramen. The baked goods are two for one. I go back there all the time, because it's such a good deal and such good food. Thank you Wes and Wanda from Mililani 2025

Great restaurant for your Japanese Food Cravings. Food prices are great and very accommodating. I saw the free gyoza at certain times and I got it! I also ate some takoyaki. Great place to eat! Thank you

Stopped by and ordered the char siu fried rice mini, and honestly, it hit the spot. The portion was generous for a "mini," and the price felt fair for what you get. The rice was flavorful, and the char siu was seasoned well. The place itself has a nice vibe, and the staff were friendly, which made the experience even better. I noticed they also sell pastries and didn’t grab any this time, but they looked tempting. Might give them a try on my next visit. Overall, solid spot. Worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I ordered a Chicken Katsu Plate at Nagoya Ramen, but when I cut into the chicken, it was pink and reddish inside. I immediately let them know, but instead of acknowledging the issue, they insisted it was safe to eat. I refused, and they offered another piece, but by then, I had lost my appetite. They also tried to give me a roll as a replacement, but I declined. The customer service was decent, but I was really disappointed that they told me to eat undercooked chicken. That’s a huge red flag for me, and I won’t be coming back.

If you're in Mililani and craving some delicious ramen, you’ve got to check out Nagoya Ramen! This place isn’t huge, but it’s super cozy and has a nice vibe. We went a bit overboard and ordered a bunch of stuff, but honestly, everything was fantastic. The tantan ramen had a great flavor kick to it, and the chicken fried rice was so tasty, you really can't go wrong with it. The takoyaki balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a must-try for sure! We also couldn’t resist the spicy chicken wings, which were just the right amount of heat, and the gyoza was spot on—crispy and packed with flavor. Plus, they have some pastries in there that looked tempting too! Overall, if you’re in the mood for some great food in a chill setting, Nagoya Ramen is definitely worth a visit!

Excellent noodle restaurant with an incredible bakery. The Ramen meal we had was delicious and plentiful. Full flavored, plenty of good noodles all added to a delightful experience. Service was great, they could not have been more helpful and pleasant. Their bakery items are delicious, the apple turnover tasted like apple not overly sweet, with one of the flakest crusts ever.
