L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Keaau (Old Volcano Rd)

The food was cold and the staff freaked out at me when I brought it up with them. They offered to microwave it for me. When I refused to have it microwaved. The guy from the back came out and literally started yelling at me and said in 20 years I’m the only one who’s complained about the food being cold.

Fried rice and noodles were horrible with no flavor. Noodles were swollen and mushy. The lady working was not very friendly and gave attitude when I asked her to stir the food before she scooped it.

Stopped in real quick! Pork and cabbage wa on point super tasty! I know it was white rice but cooked perfectly great flavor! Oh and had a cold starry best thing with pork and cabbage! Staff had smiles and were very attentive! I visit often!

Probably one of the best L&L experiences I have had! The food was fresh fresh fresh! I would highly recommend ordering food fresh and maybe not what is on display, due to you not really knowing how long it has been sitting out! L&L is awesome! 🤙🤙🤙🤙 staff was awesome! Aloha! 🤙🤙🤙🤙

I wish I was able to rate it a half a star The food was absolutely horrendous. As we were sitting outside, we ate at a table, the people next to us said that it was terrible, and I asked him why they didn't tell us before we ordered It was so bad that we actually threw it away and went next door to lemongrass. Additionally, the lady who took our order was very rude and abrupt. I asked for chopsticks and she said I gave you a fork. I again said May I have some chopsticks. She said I gave you a fork. I said can I have some chopsticks, she goes you don't want the fork. I said no I want chopsticks. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Really felt like Chinese food whilst on holidays and found this place. Got their 3 x entrees with a couple of delicious pork and chicken varieties and fried rice for $16. Not only was the food outstanding, the serving size was great and fed me and my me for dinner. Service was great also and the place was clean and tidy. Good was so good in fact that we had it the next night as well!

The sis who took my order was great. The food was hot, delicious and fast. The honey garlic chicken was great, and the Mac salad was some of the best I've had in a while. If you haven't been, just be aware that at this location, there are only 2 tables.

This restaurant chain is usually a favorite of mine and I ordered what I always order... pulled pork and cabbage with a side of macaroni salad. The Keaau L n L BBQ store did not meet the standard. The person who took my call was hard to understand, the cabbage was over cooked and borderline mushy, and the whole dish had zero flavor out side of cooked cabbage and meat. It should have tasted slightly salty with a decent savory broth, the one big piece of meat that was on my plate was mostly gristle and I dislike eating gristle even though it can lend to good flavor, and the meat was not the proper serving it was miserably far less than usual. On an up side the overall portion was vey good and it was made in a timely manor.

The healthy choice garlic shrimp was delicious and with a generous portion of grilled shrimp. The accompanying salad was fresh and with lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and purple canbage. Visually appealing and a good value.
