I just went in and made a purchase while wearing a mask. The cashier (wearing a wrist wrap) asked how I was doing, and I said, “oh, you know.” She then replied, “looking rough — you have a cold?” I said, “no, I have cancer.” I’m absolutely blown away by the ignorance and lack of basic decency. Who comments on a stranger’s appearance, let alone a customer? My hair is falling out from treatment — the last thing I need is to be shamed at checkout. We’ve tried to support this store since moving here, even though Foodland just a few doors down carries many of the same items for far less. After today, you’ve completely lost my business. Appalling behavior.

They are a wonderful natural foods store. Not huge. But they have the correct essentials. WONDERFUL!!!! = The selection of bulk herbs and teas is the most satisfying!!!

Great store love the products they carry . Parking can be a pain sometimes though if you really need excersize be ready to walk a little

Wonderful little health food store with a large variety of anything you need. I especially love their collection of herbs and spices! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They have lots of locally grown and produced products as well as your favorite all natural foods and some plants available out front! We love the dehydrated fruits and kombucha options.

One of the best health food stores in Hawaii. The reason being is one of the owners, Wes, is an expert at herbal medicine. They love when you ask detailed questions and have answers for most health issues, a calm atmosphere to buy healthy things.

I appreciate the nice selection of the bulk section and local organic produce, overall fair prices on many items. Convenient location coming from Volcano. I also like the plants for sale. Will definitely keep coming back.
