Banyan Tree

Came here for our final dinner of our honeymoon and had the most lovely experience. All of the staff were wonderful, but especially our server Nick. He went over the menu thoroughly and was so pleasant in his service. Food was absolutely magnificent and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic night.

Came here to celebrate my sisters birthday and everything was 10/10. From the atmosphere, to the food to the service!!! Lowkey spot which made it even more perfect. Fresh food and Adam made the experience amazing. Thank you all 🤍

So it was a little disappointing. This is the Ritz Carlton. They did have a vegetarian menu, but it wasn’t that much variety. Be honest truth was it wasn’t a great deal of flavor that I kind of expected. The one thing that we’re good were the brussels sprouts and the homemade mashed potatoes. The day had a special dessert for the kids for their birthdays. It took forever for them to bring it out. I have no idea why it took so long. I just don’t understand the challenges they had because of all the resources at the Ritz Carlton. Maybe the lobby restaurant is a better choice for vegetarians and other individuals with restrictive diets.

Really lovely dinner here to kick off our honeymoon at The Ritz. Gorgeous spot overlooking the ocean, our server was amazing and the food was outstanding! Can’t wait to come back one day, especially for the Maui onion dip.

Overall, the resort is beautiful and well-maintained, with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The property itself is very nice and we enjoyed the pool area and the general comfort of the hotel. However, we were disappointed with the restaurant. The meat we ordered did not taste fresh, and it really affected our experience. My family and I were not satisfied with the quality of the meal, especially given the level of the hotel. Aside from that, the stay was good, but the dining experience definitely needs improvement.

While everyone else went for steak, we tried the grilled fish — and it was amazing 😋🐟 The fish and octopus were so fresh! Seafood is definitely a must-try, not just meat. The fries? Honestly, best fries of my life 🍟✨ Everything about this meal was perfect!

A beautiful and royal experience. Incredible atmosphere and service. Luke was our server and made our experience one of a kind. We had the whole fish cooked in the coal oven, it was an amber jack tuna. Cooked to perfection, plentiful amounts of meat and such a decadent grouping of flavors. We picked the creamed corn and brusselsprouts as our sides and they were perfect as well. Best Mai tai that I had while in Maui. Octopus and wagyu as well. Over the top.

Long time resident from upcountry. We decided to venture out to the west side. We order the specialty whole fish. It did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived at the Ritz till we got our car at value this was truly a luxury experience. This is by far one of the best food experiences we have had here. They offer a generous Kamaʻāina discount much more than any other restaurant on island. To our surprise valet parking was included as well. I would totally got back.

While staying at the Ritz, we had the pleasure of eating at the Banyan tree! It was such a beautiful restaurant with lots of flowers and plants everywhere and lots of photo opportunities! The food was great and filling! Some portions were a little small for the price but yummy. I think most high end restaurants are like that. As for the service, our server was the kindest. It was my birthday recently and though my birthday had already past, the server insisted on gifting me a dessert which was very yummy! This is definitely a restaurant to visit for a fancy date night or a “last day in Maui” celebration dinner.

I went here in 2023 when I was staying at the Ritz. The views are nice, and the setting of the place is cute. During the day this would be a great spot to grab a drink at the bar and see the views. The food was good. We got a mix of things to eat. We started off with the Hawaiian Ahi Poke Bowl and the we got the prime beef tenderloin and the banyan tree seafood curry. The staff was nice and got us a seat close to the fire pits. If you are staying around the area, give this place a try.
