Daughter/mother lunch outing. I selected this restaurant because the food looked great online and reviews were pretty good. Location is very nice, as we browsed shops after lunch. The hostess asked if we'd like to sit inside or out and we chose outside. I took a star off because we were not asked if we had a seating preference and were seated near the bar/very noisy area and music was loud overhead. There were plenty of empty tables along railing, and after inquiring if we could move due to noise, we felt our waitress was a bit irritated by us, but we were moved by hostess near railing. It was much quieter and also a prettier view. We ordered a goat cheese dip (my daughter's fav) and a salad with dried mango and fried sweet potatoes and tomatoes. My daughter enjoyed her Mai Thai and I tried a non alcoholic drink with pineapple, jalapeño and mint. I was skeptical to try it because of the jalapeño, but our waitress said its just a hint of jalapeño and if I didn't like it, I could order something else. It was a very unusual and tasty drink. Refreshing. My daughter ordered a chicken Ceasars salad and I ordered the beef ribs with slaw and mashed potatoes. I really enjoyed my lunch. Overall, we enjoyed out time together.

We just had happy hour at Tommy Bahamas in Maui! First stop on our honeymoon. I can’t even explain how incredible the service was. Our server was Ethan! He went above and beyond to make our experience top notch! We can’t wait to come back! Special shout out to the coconut shrimp - best I’ve ever had! Ethan even sent us on our way with some to go waters with beautiful flowers in them. Ethan you are one of a kind, and meant to serve!

I was craving a burger was in the area and I’m glad I came to have a Wagyu beef burger. It traditional doesn’t have all defense things on it, but it was super juicy with pickles, onions and tomatoes and some cucumbers/pickle traditional fries, which are all good. My wife got the ribeye steak medium well done gross but the mashed potatoes were good. I have a little bite. I like my medium rare. Our server was on it for taking care of us Jeffery

A special thanks to our server, James, for making our anniversary celebration even more special with top tier recommendations. The food, service and overall ambiance were amazing. The seafood was extremely fresh and I enjoyed the strong cocktails. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand as it was quite busy in the evening.

The best restaurant on Maui for sure. Our family of 5 had lunch and dinner almost every day of the week there. From the service people to the beautiful view of palm trees and delicious food, we can't wait to come back.

We live on maui and it was my least favorite meal on the island. The waiter Mike was amazing and made the meal better but the food was not good. The chicken was extremely dry. The garlic shrimp was overcooked. My friends didn’t even finish their meal. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable and the music was tacky.

Two of us hit Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar in Wailea for happy hour drinks and apps at the bar—the tropical-themed spot aimed for island vibes, but felt dated and underwhelming right off the bat. Service was subpar for the upscale prices, with slow attention despite the light crowd. Lobster spring rolls were greasy and unappetizing—gross texture and flavor—while the fish tacos were mediocre at best, lacking freshness or punch. Atmosphere screamed outdated tourist trap. Totally lame experience; skip it and save your money—would never return.

Amazing food and the best island-style service! I visited for dinner with my best friend and loved the unique atmosphere of the restaurant inside the Tommy Bahama store on the 2nd floor. It was busy, but we were lucky to find first-come, first-served seating at the bar. Our bartender and server, John, was incredible! Despite being super busy, he was attentive, gave us great menu recommendations, and even shared some local travel tips. We planned on a light meal but ended up ordering a feast because everything was delicious. The goat cheese dip was warm and flavorful, and the chicken with Yukon mash was perfectly crunchy and rich. The shrimp and crab pasta was a highlight, featuring fresh seafood and a nice kick from the andouille sausage. We finished with the pineapple crème brulee, which had a beautiful presentation and a perfect citrus-meets-creamy flavor. For the best service and a great vibe, definitely visit and ask for John!

The very first thing that stood out was the fantastic service, especially from Jason and Adam. They were welcoming, attentive, friendly, and relaxed, creating the perfect vibe that us vacationers are looking for during nights out in Maui. Thank you, Jason and Adam! Out of our 9 nights in Maui, we dined at Tommy Bahama’s 3 times, which really says it all. The food is consistently outstanding. We loved the happy hour menu, the fresh, flavourful salads and poke dishes, and the pineapple crème brûlée, which was absolutely unforgettable. And of course, the virgin piña coladas were perfection. They were so refreshing and beautifully made. The amazing flavours of both the dishes and drinks came as no surprise after Adam explained on our first night that everything is made in house, including sauces and drink mixes. The atmosphere is just as great as the food, with live music every night, a fantastic patio, and a relaxed island vibe. It is also very easy to make reservations online, which made planning our evenings effortless. Every single visit was a 10 out of 10 experience. Thank you to the Tommy Bahama crew. We cannot wait to be back on our next trip to Maui!

Brittney and Tim took great care of us and made our dining experience fantastic. The food was amazing and its presentation beautiful, and my nut allergy was handled with ease.
