The Market Maui
About
A Wailea Culinary Staple
Tucked away in the heart of Wailea, The Market Maui serves as the go-to spot for those seeking high-quality, chef-driven meals without the pretense of white-tablecloth service. This is where locals grab their afternoon fuel and visitors discover the secret to a perfect beach day picnic. The space functions as both a gourmet deli and a boutique grocery, offering a seamless transition from morning coffee runs to sunset-ready dinner pickups.
Flavors of the Island
Chef Paris Nabavi’s vision is clear: approachable, ingredient-forward food that highlights Hawaii's natural bounty. You will find their signature poke bowls consistently topping the list of favorites, featuring ahi that tastes as if it were pulled from the Pacific hours prior. The menu rotates based on local availability, but the house-made kalua pork remains a non-negotiable must-try. You’ll hear the hum of the espresso machine and the rhythmic chopping of fresh herbs the moment you step through the door.
The Wailea Experience
The atmosphere is undeniably casual, characterized by open-air ventilation that lets in the scent of sea salt and freshly baked pastries. It is an ideal stop for couples heading toward the coastal walking paths or families stocking up on snacks before a resort day. A minor heads-up for those driving in: parking in this specific Wailea complex can tighten up during the lunch rush, so plan your arrival accordingly. Once you secure a spot, however, the reward is a meal that balances genuine Maui flavor with refreshing convenience. Whether you are grabbing a quick wrap or lingering over a cold-brew coffee, this deli manages to capture the relaxed spirit of South Maui living perfectly.

Our daughter was married yesterday 6/14/26 and the groom had suggested this restaurant for dinner afterwards. He could not have chosen better! Anna, our server was exceptionally helpful with food selection and drinks, then attentive without being intrusive. We stayed a little late with no problem. We were a small party and they were perfect. It will be one of the best memories as we were able to sit, eat, drink and talk. Our daughter and new son, along with the rest of our families appreciated having found such a great environment.

This restaurant is inside the Grand Wailea. Reservations suggested! We have stayed here many times and this food was very good. Flavorful and the service was what was expected at such a nice resort. If you want good food, very calm quiet atmosphere this is a great location.

Located in Marriot Hotel. Validation of valet parking is available at this restaurant (you park for free). Great service from the team that waited on our table with a very open and airy atmosphere and a great view. We had a private room, which was even better. Food was very well presented and staged, with the dirty plates removed promptly after use. Steaks were good as were the appetizers, especially the Korean Ribs. Salad was unusual with a complex mixture of vegetables, not the usual garden or caesar other establishments serve.

I'm a big foodie and my husband is beginning to become one. I reserved breakfast through Open Table for 6:30am. The property is spectacular. Wow!!!!! I love Wailea. Valet parking only, which is always appreciated by me. The fee was waived, since we ate breakfast here, which was very nice. I took 2 stars off for my husbands breakfast as he was disappointed in the quality of the breakfast buffet. I ordered a la cart and my breakfast was delicious because of the pancakes and oj. The breakfast buffet was $50 and included a custom made omelet, if you chose it, which my hubby did, fruit, and few types of sausages, etc. Nothing spectacular, but it was very filling. I ordered the a la cart Macadamia/coconut pancakes with creme brule bananas served with syrup and coconut whipped cream. It was the BEST pancakes I've ever eaten and worth every penny my hubby evercpaid. 🤣💕 I also ordered a side of Portuguese sausages (4 slices (not links) of sausage for $10) and 2 eggs ... for a grand total of $50 for my breakfast. The eggs/sausages were ok, but I require protein to function, so ate them. Not spectacular. But those pancakes!!!! Omg. Soooo good. You're welcome. Enjoy.

Food was great! Got the brussel sprouts cauliflower appetizer, ribeye steak and rice cracker crusted ahi tuna. They were all delicious! The chocolate soufflé was to die for! But what made my dinner experience exceptional was our server, Shannon! She was wonderful, super attentive and really made the night unforgettable! Thank you so much!

Wonderful setting and view, onsite at Marriott Wailea Resort & Hotel, Sashimi was a Highlight, Braised Short Rib with Mashed and Local Veggies was really good, Butterfish is always delicious. Very nice service and excellent advice form manager on Wine choice. Thank you Went again 05/28/25 and had another very nice experience. We did the Sushi Plate again and it was excellent, super fresh and nice size pieces with an extra piece too. Ceasar Salad was also excellent. We had Grilled Ahi, Beef Ribs (served with lots of potatos and roasted vegetables) a Fish Plate and Sauteed Shrimp. Everything was very good except the Shrimp did not seem that fresh and/or were overcooked - they were tough. Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Ice Cream was very good. Thank you

My family and I had such a great dinner at Humble Market Kitchin. I am a long time fan of Roy's Restaurants and have been to many locations multiple times. This location is no different-- it continues to uphold the high quality service and food quality I have experienced at every Roy's Restaurant. The water-front view from our table was just so beautiful! We were greeted with an amazing staff who provided high-quality service. They were able to recommend food and drinks for us that they thought we would enjoy just based on hearing what we like. Huge shoutout to Cody and Pili for their exceptional service and making our dinner such a great time. The food was also delicious, we enjoyed and finished every single appetizer, entree, and desserts that came out. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was so flavorful and tender. I cannot recommend this place more. Such a great place to share a meal with those you love!

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our baby’s first birthday at Humble Market Kitchin! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a table with a beautiful sunset view, making the evening extra special. The food was fantastic—both entrées, the Misoyaki Lion’s Mane Mushrooms and Herb Crusted Tofu, were outstanding, full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The Crispy Brussels & Cauliflower had great texture, though it was a bit on the salty side. The highlight of the evening was the thoughtful gesture of providing a cake for our baby’s birthday. It made the celebration even more memorable. Excellent service, great ambiance, and delicious food—we will definitely be back! Would highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Humble Market today. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered an impressive selection of breakfast and brunch items, catering to various tastes. Their special blend of coffee was absolutely delightful, adding a warm touch to our meal. Everything was not only fresh but also so flavorful. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing service that made us feel really welcome. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were fortunate enough to walk right in and only waited a few minutes for a lovely table with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Overall, this place is truly a gem for a buffet breakfast, and we can’t wait to return.back.

The servers were super kind with the exception of one but it does not change the rating because she was just one person. We had a fantastic dinner and fantastic breakfast here. Dinner was excellent, it did take a long to get to us but it was still so tasty. Breakfast was a buffet and there were so many delicious options. The atmosphere and views were beautiful. For dinner we started with Crispy Calamari, I had the Blackened Ahi and my husband had the pork tender braised beef short rib. My drink was the Pumpkin Pie Martini, which was so 10/10. Dessert was the Pineapple upside down cake made with Maui Gold pineapple.
