Manoli's Pizza Company
About
A Slice of Maui Life
Steps away from the shimmering Wailea coastline, Manoli's Pizza Company serves as a relaxed anchor for locals and tourists alike who prefer craft beer and hand-tossed dough over formal resort dining. The atmosphere leans heavily into the open-air island lifestyle, featuring a spacious patio where the sound of clinking glasses often competes with the hum of the nearby Wailea breeze.
The Dough and The Details
This is where the focus turns to the crust. Manoli’s utilizes a signature honey-wheat dough that offers a slightly sweeter, nuttier crunch than standard island fare. Their specialty pies—such as the Mediterranean-inspired Greek pizza—hit the table with bubbling mozzarella and a char that tells you the oven is running hot. It is the kind of place where your hands will inevitably get a little messy, and that is entirely the point.
What to Expect at the Table
Beyond the pizza, the menu holds its own with fresh local catch specials and salads that utilize Maui-grown greens. The dining room can get particularly vibrant during happy hour, so be prepared for a lively, sometimes boisterous crowd. If you are aiming for a quiet conversation, seek out a corner table on the perimeter of the terrace. The service maintains a laid-back, efficient tempo that matches the sunny disposition of South Maui. Whether you are coming straight from a snorkeling trip or winding down after a day at the beach, the setting is unpretentious and geared toward those who value a cold glass of beer and a reliable, hot meal without the white-tablecloth formality found elsewhere in the district.

It is a lovely place overlooking a great golf course. The service was excellent and the food was very good. If I had to complain about anything it would be about the Greek Salad. If you are going to serve and Greek Salad then if has to be a Greek Salad, and unfortunately this was not a traditional Greek Salad. There was no Olives and very little amount of Feta Cheese which was so disappointing. Other than that the food was excellent. Good competitive prices and fair size portions.

Buckle up friends here we go! Pizza: this is locked in. Showed up 30 minutes before “closing” got a hot slice and it was legit! Service: 10/10. Friendly, responsive, amazing. Crowd: awesome! Was hit on rather aggressively (confidence building, no lines crossed) by someone barking up a tree that doesn’t give him what he wants! Rest of the crew enjoy his attempts. Just checks the can’t cash! Employee that worked there showed up and dude got me extra pizza pair close. Some fellas that work law enforcement showed up and my night was epic! 10/10. When I return to Maui Manolis is #1 spot to spend the night. Great people amazing pizza and friendly (almost aggressively affirming) vibes. Change nothing; except later hours.

I saw this place had a 4.1 review and we wanted a good slice of pizza. We had a 7:30 reservation, but got there early and got seated right away at 7:10, but it was almost 8 before our pizza arrived. We saw the serve three times - once to order, once to bring food, once a couple min later to ask if food was tasting good (which we said fine, because at that point we were still trying to figure out if it even had sauce on it and how such a thin pizza could still be raw under the toppings). I was hungry but I couldn’t eat the two slices because the 2” of crust was so dry, but the rest was raw. We picked at the meat and regretted our choice. We waited for check and finally walked to the counter to pay leaving over a half a pizza on table. When paying we could see the pizza just rolls through this mini easy bake oven style thing. I’m sure the view in daylight is beautiful. There was such a line for pickup that we were so hopeful. Surely, to warrant a 4.1 avg review they must have other good that’s good but unless this is how the pizza is on Maui, and you’ve never had real pizza, then I don’t even know what to think. Just don’t order the pizza unless you like the .99 Tony’s pizza from the grocery store freezer - cooked in a microwave.

Awesome food! Pizza, Ceasar salad, scallopini piccata were all terrific. We had to remind our waitress to take our order, and we would have liked our water refilled, but she had great recommendations and was very friendly. Restaurant was open and relaxing, the bar area seemed really nice too. We would go back again.

I had a very disappointing experience at Manoli’s Pizza Company. We ordered three pizzas and hot wings for pickup at 6:30 p.m. The employee who took our order charged our card and told us it would be ready in 20–30 minutes. I arrived shortly after 7:00 p.m., assuming it might just need a few extra minutes. Unfortunately, the order wasn’t ready. I checked in and was told it would need another 30 minutes. I waited patiently. Around 7:45 p.m., with still no update from staff, I had to check in again myself. Once again, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. There was no explanation, no apology beyond a quick acknowledgment, and no effort to keep me updated while I stood there waiting. No offer of a drink, discount, or anything to help make up for the delay. I finally told them that if it wasn’t ready in 30 minutes, they should just cancel the entire order. After that, the food did come out roughly 30 minutes later, but as they handed it to me, they casually mentioned they were out of wings. No prior notice. No substitution offered. Nothing. By the time I got home, it was around 8:30 p.m., and I had spent over an hour and fifteen minutes just waiting at the restaurant. When we opened the pizza boxes to eat with our family, the pizzas were ice cold, as if they had been sitting out for quite some time. To top it off, there was no discount or attempt to make things right after a clearly poor experience. Communication was lacking, the wait time was unreasonable, and the food quality reflected it. Very frustrating experience overall.

Paid $16 for a very sad-looking calamari fritti. It was clearly frozen, low-grade fried calamari and not worth the price at all. We also asked for hot sauce with our Hawaiian pizza. The server asked, “What kind of hot sauce?” We said Tabasco, and she replied that they don’t have it. We then asked what kind of hot sauce they do have, and she said they don’t have any hot sauce at all. That made no sense—why ask us what kind we want if you don’t carry any in the first place? On top of that, the tone and attitude of the person working the takeout counter were unpleasant. Overall, the food quality and service were both disappointing.

We enjoyed a pizza here last night. Nice open air seating, but was a bit hot. They sat us in a shady corner which was nice. Summer, our server was great! Very friendly and helpful. The pizza was good and the drinks as well. If you want to get out of your resort and eat some place different then this is a good place to go.

Most disappointing Christmas Eve dinner I’ve ever had, and Easily the worst pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life. I ordered the gluten-free pizza, it was literally soggy and crumbled apart in my hands. It was completely Inedible. I even called to give them some feedback because I truly did not think it was OK for them to serve this to any other people. I then asked if a manager could call me and Anie never called me back so at lead me to be writing this review. Save yourself money and do not eat here. You could easily get a better gluten-free pizza in the grocery store frozen.

Great atmosphere, drinks and view. We came here for the gluten Free pizza which was great. A bit pricey ($5 more for GF crust) but worth it when you have celiac. The other pizza we ordered was a plain cheese and it was the worst pizza I have ever had- paper thin, greasy and not worth the wait.
