About
Sip Among the Wailea Palms
Lehua Lounge sits as the heartbeat of the Andaz Maui, offering an elevated open-air sanctuary that captures the essence of Wailea evenings. As the sun dips below the Pacific horizon, the space transforms into a flickering glow of fire pits and ambient low-fi beats. It is the kind of place where your sandals feel perfectly appropriate, even as you order a top-shelf craft cocktail.
Crafted Libations and Island Flavors
The mixology program here leans heavily into local provenance. You will find signature drinks utilizing Maui-grown pineapple and freshly pressed sugar cane, often garnished with herbs plucked directly from the resort’s chef garden. Pair these with the ahi poke or the locally sourced flatbreads if you want to ground your appetite before a late dinner. The kitchen maintains a focus on farm-to-table integrity, which shines through in the vibrant, citrus-forward profiles of their small plates.
The Tropical Pulse
Be prepared for a high-energy environment. Because it lacks traditional walls, the ocean breeze flows through freely, carrying the scent of salt spray and blooming plumeria. While the atmosphere is sophisticated, the acoustics can get quite lively as the night progresses and the live acoustic sets begin. It is an ideal spot for those who prefer the social hum of a busy lounge over a quiet, hushed dining room. Keep in mind that seating near the fire pits is highly coveted; arriving just before the golden hour is your best bet for snagging a prime spot with an unobstructed view of the Maui coastline.

Lehua Lounge is solid option if you’re staying at the Andaz and want a no-fuss dinner. We went on a Friday night and the live music was a great touch, it set a really relaxed vibe. One thing I appreciated was that they never rushed us. I ordered the ahi poke, which came with tortilla chips, and I ordered a house salad. There was no wait to be seated! It’s not a destination restaurant, but for convenience and atmosphere it delivers.

Popped in here early afternoon for a Bloody Mary, as the BumBye was closed for renovation. Nice, quiet spot to enjoy ocean views and have a few drinks. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were good.

If you’re staying at the Andaz, this is a must-try place for drinks! And we ordered food from them the first day that we were there and on the last day as well when we were packing up, and the room service was incredible! Sarah, the room service delivery lady, was so sweet and kind! The food turned out to be amazing. Highly recommend for casual food and drinks if you’re at the beach and at the infinity pools all day long at the resort!!!
