I've been searching for years for incredible bbq on Maui. We found Dope BBQ and it hits ALL the marks. The brisket, ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and pickles are excellent! They were out of jalapeno cheese cornbread so we weren't able to try that, but no doubt it's great. The portions are huge! We will be back. Gary, the owner is very responsive and friendly.

Some of the Best BBQ on Maui. His brisket grilled cheese is next level good. And his bbq beans cannot be beat. When he has collared greens they are to die for. Always super nice and provides excellent service. I have been eating at his truck for years now.

Great BBQ. Have gotten a few times. One time I ordered and forgot one item at the food truck. As it was end of his day, he drove it to my house in Kihei about 20 minutes away. Who gives that kind of service these days? Top notch, good guy, great BBQ. Would recommend to anyone wanted excellent BBQ.

I was introduced to Dope BBQ at a birthday party they catered. So delicious!! Ordered a combo plate from them on my way home from work. Oh man, it was challenging not to pull over for a roadside picnic just smelling the food. Being from the South makes me a bbq skeptic. Not with Dope Bbq! They are dialed in with collard greens and cornbread. Hell, the cucumber garnish is amazing! I rarely give reviews but I can't say enough about the deliciousness of Dope Bbq!!

I had the pulled pork grilled cheese, a half pound of brisket and a jalapeño cornbread muffin, total was $32. As Gary said, they have some pretty dang good bbq. I would agree with Gary, who I believes owns this food truck. The brisket was moist and great flavor and the pulled pork grilled cheese was da bomb. I was super hungry, but finished about half of everything. I would recommend this food truck and shall return!

Got my first Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwich... WOW I'm impressed.. I thought it would be dry without BBQ sauce...but I was wrong, really juicy.. highly recommended!!!!

Real BBQ has been hard to find and this place brings the heat and smoke. Delicious bacon wrapped stuff jalapeños, smoked Cornish hens, and homemade lemonade with virgin bloody Mary’s I’d give 1,000 stars if I could! Highly recommend!!
