Used to Love the grindz from here! *Best burgers on Maui, or used to be. Just dropped puka 100$ on one order. Burgers & plate lunches...da 2 burgers was close to raw. The plate lunches never have da side items, was just empty. $16 raw burgers & $20 plate lunches with no sides...awue you guys! Ordered online, still had to wait almost 1 hours for the food. I understand when get busy, mistakes happen...but c'mon! Kitchen was closed for long time, now that open again & prices have doubled...the quality isn't reflected in da prices & service. Hope you guys can do better in the future.

It's a great kitchen, everything is cooked to order. I had the bbq chicken and the katsu curry which was very well made and tasted amazing. Portions were perfect and reasonably priced. Will keep coming here weekly

Classic neighborhood burger joint with surprisingly good variety on the menu. Never tried anything other than the burgers but maybe one day!

This burger is a spiritual experience. I am addicted to the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Add the hot peppers (they aren’t too hot, more like a delicious slightly spicy pickle). The owner is really sweet and the food is both delicious and great price with a pretty wide menu. But trust me and please try the burger it’s honestly ridiculous it’s so good. A good selection of alcohol also.

Liquor Shack & Grind's Kitchen was closed so no food, which made us stop in for local fare. Menu looked delicious... The shack has a Limited but good selection of liquors, beer and wine. If brand, quality or cost isn't a factor you'll likely find a fill in for a quick beverage.

Love this place. Call in & place your order. In Makawao, so wait is never more than 20 mins ...usually. Huge menu! Chicken Katsu, Spicy Beef, OxTail Soup, Cheeseburgers. Friendly staff. Den, on da way out, u grab yo beya'z!!!

Staff are friendly and the food is 'ono! If you're looking for local grinds upcountry, stop by Liquor Shack & Grinds. Straight to the point good, simple food... For those of us that just want a simple hamburger and saimin without the frills that seem to accompany a lot of these new local eateries (i.e. hand cut noodles, 50yr old cured whatever, beef hand fed and cuddled blah blah blah, you get the gist) that's great to know of course, but when you just want a local plate lunch, a hamburger, etc... Stop by here. Lol

Great value and food. The variety of sides is amazing. I think the one con is just that sometimes the kitchen isn't always open based on what is posted, but I'm sure that has to do with staffing.
