Freshies Maui

Not a bad place for breakfast. You walk in, order at the front and take a seat. Pretty simple. I would have enjoyed breakfast better with some refills of coffee, but I digress. Overall, it’s a good spot to eat. Parking lot in the back could be full so beware.

My wife and I both ordered the Thai soba noodle in peanut sauce chicken salad. Simply outstanding. Super fresh, huge salad, and absolutely delicious. This is our new go-to place in Makawao.

I'm going to dream about the soba noodle salad when I'm back home, it was fantastic (ignore the bite I already took in this photo, I had to dig in right away). Comfortable, chill spot. Can't wait to return.

Nice place to get vegan food . You can inside or outside a tree. Nice place on way to Kula or Haleakala. Great vegetarian options .

Getting cold food when you waited for a long time is not my thing. Service was good, the atmosphere is lovely. The food in the other hand didn't take the part. Cold tasteless frenchtoast with dry regular bread, instead of sweet bread like it stated on their menu. Biscuit and gravy is just spooned into the bowl, overflowing. They didn't care what it looks like. Spam looks like a day old, does not look fresh at all.

Amazing food within downtown Makawao. Ate in their beautiful little courtyard area. Got the omelette but ended up wishing I got the breakfast Sammy because look how good it looks!

Enjoyed brunch and coffee here at a quiet Maui town, Makawao. Wait staff, mainly cashier there was friendly even my party took bit of long time to decide and order food. All menu items are on a wall, difficult to explore and decide at first. Like all other Hawaiian restaurants, the price tag does not always justify the quality and content of foods. But here at Freahies, most of omelets and drinks my family ordered were decent and nicely presented. Outside courtyard area next to big trees was perfect for enjoying Hawaiian breeze.

What a perfect stop on our way back from the Haleakala Summit. This restaurant has amazing service, friendly and attentive! Our coffee was never empty, and our meal came out hot. The was tasty but, the atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely the best.

We were not expecting to find such a fabulous spot for lunch in the middle of the mountain. It was fantastic and they offer different type of cuisines from tacos, curry, salad… We both had a super tasty red curry with coconut milk. They also make their own kombucha! Amazing! Highly recommend if you’re around and want a nice lunch full of flavours.

This place was a bit pricey for us, but consistent in both service and flavor. They have many vegetarian and vegan options. They were also kind enough to bring a homemade strawberry shortcake on my boyfriend’s birthday. Very personable staff, fitting country decor, choice of indoor or outdoor seating, all around great breakfast place!
