Kauai Thai Food Truck is a hidden gem on the north end of Kapaʻa. My wife has been telling me for a long time that it's her favorite spot for Thai food, so while my stepfather was visiting, I finally brought him there to give it a try. We ordered the chicken fried rice and crispy vegetable spring rolls, and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came with some really great dipping sauces. You can tell they care about quality. What made the experience even better was the location. We were told our order would take about 10 to 15 minutes, so we walked over to the ocean just steps away and enjoyed a beautiful stroll along the shoreline. By the time we were ready to head back, our food was waiting for us. Fast service, great food, and a fantastic location. If you're looking for high-quality Thai food in Kapaʻa without a long wait, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back

Delicious Thai food with authentic flavors straight from Thailand! The shrimp Pad Thai and green chicken curry were absolutely amazing - the spice level of the curry was perfectly balanced. Generous portions and great taste - highly recommended!

If you are fortunate enough to be served by Phan, you’re going to get great service, an amazing experience and most importantly serious good Thai food. My wife and I are a bit of a Chicken Pad Thai snobs, and this was some of the best we’ve had. This is a busy area, parking can be tricky, but it’s worth parking and walking if you have to. The Pad Thai is a bit on the peppery side, just fyi. Chicken is tender, portion is generous, fresh lime with cabbage garnish (rather than sprouts). Noodles cooked/worked to perfection. We didn’t try anything other menu items but wish we would have.

Ordered chicken pad Thai to go, overall happy with the experience. It was good and the portion was large enough. There are several food trucks in that location and there are few tables for sitting outside or easy street parking for a quick pick up. Our order was ready in less than 10min. Price is reasonable.

Food is amazing and place is great with beach facing tables. Taste is so good that we came twice. It's like our mother cooking with love and warmth. We ordered Fried rice, pad thai and thai chai (carnation) and all are best. Day 2 we tried fried rice, same chai and satay chicken with peanut sauce. Loved all of it. Will come back if we visit kauai❤️

We ate here every single day in Kauai—it’s that good! The food is super tasty, from the fried rice and Pad Thai to the curries and noodles. Everything was just so flavorful and satisfying. Plus, the owner is really friendly and makes you feel right at home. If you’re craving Thai food, this place is a must! Especially for Fried rice 😀

We really enjoy Thai food and this was incredible!! We had the shrimp pad Thai and red curry with chicken. So complex in flavor, spices and heat level we are from Chicago and are convinced it’s the best we’ve had (outside of Mama’s Fish House on Maui, which is on a different playing field). We enjoy spicy food but are happy to have had the red curry as its heat was tangible and green may have overdone it for our tastes. Enjoying it on the beach was so lovely. Mahalo!! 🌺

Excellent Thai food from a local food truck. Multiple trucks in one area, but this was the only one open at 6:30p when we visited. We ordered just the red curry with chicken. It was very flavorful and actually had a decent spice level as well! The young lady taking orders was helpful, and the (I assume) owner was really sweet and genuinely grateful for our patronage. The food did take a little longer than usual to come out, but there were several orders to be made ahead of ours, plus the quality was worth it! As a bonus, lovely beach access just at the end of the parking area
