Avoid: Overpriced, dirty, and poor service I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach. For the price they charge, the experience was unacceptable. Cleanliness Issues: The room was visibly dirty with dust on most surfaces and a strong, lingering odor of mold. Most alarmingly, when I pulled the mattress back, there were visible mold spores. The "view": balcony looked directly onto roof utilities and was entirely unusable due to noise. Hidden costs: They have significantly hiked their prices recently. Self parking is now $20/day (good luck finding a valet) and the resort fee has jumped to $45/day. Despite these high fees, there was zero hospitality.. not even a basic welcome drink upon arrival. To top it off the front desk staff was incredibly rude and lacked any sense of professional courtesy. They carry the attitude of a budget motel rather than a high-end resort. Save your money and stay elsewhere. This property is nowhere near the standard a Sheraton should be.

Nice property! Clean rooms, welcome drink, free bikes, nice pool area with hot tub and bar, pool table, corn hole, etc. We wish the pool & bar area stayed open a bit later after exploring the island and dinner. We also did the luau on property. Fantastic! Nice to be at our hotel when that ended. Great spot! Highly recommended.

The Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach was the perfect location for our stay on Kauai. Close to everything with great dining options on and off the resort. The Crooked Surf had a delicious prime rib special that we really enjoyed. Our waitress Tessa was fabulous and also gave us many recommendations on the local scene. We also enjoyed wings and fish and chips from Fire Hen. We had an amazing pool and ocean view from our room as you will see from my photos. They offered free shaved ice every afternoon from 1 to 3 with a huge assortment of flavors. It was a treat for the young and older folks too! We highly recommend this place for your visit to Kauai.

The location of this resort is fantastic, right on the water with beautiful views that make it easy to relax the moment you arrive. The pool area is well-maintained and provides a great spot to lounge, and having direct access to the beach is a huge plus. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay, and while the resort has a lively atmosphere, it still felt like a solid, comfortable place to enjoy a vacation on the island.

Booked a seven night stay. Had to leave after three nights due to construction on the room next door. We first booked an ocean view room and it was bearly that. We upgraded to ocean front. Perfect, just what we were looking for. Upgrade charge was 100.00 per night. The management was GREAT and did not charge me for leaving early and refunded me the 300.00 upgrade fee. The ocean front room was spectacular, very large and I highly recommend it. Wish we could have stayed there longer because the facility was very nice and the staff were above and beyond polite, friendly and helpful. Staff left a cute birthday cake surprise in our room. Room was fine, balcony small. Everything was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was not great. Drinks were average at best, bar staff was disengaged and somewhat slow even when they weren't busy.

We loved our experience here. The hotel building may be a little bit older but everything is updated, modern, and new. Our room had a comfortable king bed and plenty of outlets including USB outlets. There was free, fast WiFi. The pool is lovely and has a ton of activities, including bingo and free shave ice daily. There are a ton of activities you can do, from beachside yoga to lei making and ukulele lessons. There are a few restaurants, including a fast casual breakfast spot and a sit down restaurant, and a poolside bar with food. The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped us find where our planned activities were, have recommendations on local spots, brought extra towels when we asked, and were just generally fun to be around with a positive attitude. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The only possible “negative” I can think of is that the beach is very small and not a swimming spot, but you’re in Kauai, so there’s plenty of other beaches to go to nearby.
