Teddy's Bigger Burgers - Kaneohe

This hole in the wall spot was fantastic. Hawaii was great to visit and there are allot of wonderful places to eat but I just wanted a nice juicy hamburger. This place delivered. What other very small burger shop let's you choose the doneness of your patty. The size was perfect and the fries were perfect too. I got the regular cheese burger but the menu was great. We ate twice on our week vacation.

I just bought some food at Teddys and paid $33.00 plus tip for a kaneohe burger which cost $15.99. A combo which consisted of just te coke for $6.00?? And onion rings for 4.99? So i guess a coke and onion ring combo costs $10.99. And you can see from pic below one of my onion rings which is yuck. And over salted. . They gave me an onion ring that im not sure what it is. I thought it was a whole onion coated in batter. It doesnt look like uncooked onion ring batter it looks like i dobt know. Im grossed out as i bit into it. . Its yucky to serve that. Then on top of charging me $4.99 for the onion rings - i was charged $6.00 for a combo. I dont thibk a coke and onion rings should cost an extra 10.00 by the time you add tax? Owner/manager what goes on. I havent been in here for a year bcs im not crazy over the price of things but to also get yucky food and i feel like paid more than i should have. Also too much sauce on burger.

Its definitely one of the most popular burger chains in hawaii for their specialty burgers named after different locations around hawaii. I used to visit the one on kapiolani before it closed down (before covid)...but glad they have multiple locations on Oahu. I visited their kaneohe restaurant recently. Atmosphere was lively with many tourist and locals visiting this location during lunch on Saturday. Restaurant was clean, though the floors were slightly sticky for some reason. One of the things I liked about this restaurant...since the burgers are hands on and at times messy. They have a sink and soap dispenser in the corner near the soda fountain, so we could wash our hands after our meal....very important. Great consideration by the restaurant for customers to use. Service was good. Nothing good or bad about it. As for the burgers, enjoyable and delicious but also heavy...i definitely need sleep after eating it. I got the Waikiki burger, since I enjoyed hash brown and bacon covered in teriyaki sauce. Lol didn't finish my onion rings...too much food. The onion rings were seasoned well and crispy when served. The french fries and tater tots were crispy and seasoned well too. No complaints. My family enjoyed their burgers, all three were medium in temp.
