Saigon Noodle House (45-1151 Kamehameha Hwy Ste D)
About
A Taste of Vietnam on the Windward Side
Tucked away in the heart of Kaneohe, Saigon Noodle House serves as a reliable go-to for those craving honest, no-frills Vietnamese comfort food. The aroma of star anise and ginger greets you at the door, signaling a kitchen that takes its beef broth seriously. The Pho here is the main event; bowls arrive steaming, filled with rice noodles and aromatic herbs that cut through the richness of the long-simmered stock.
The Windward Dining Experience
The interior keeps things simple, echoing the casual, welcoming spirit of Oahu’s Windward community. It is the kind of spot where locals pull up a chair for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner after running errands along the Kamehameha corridor. You will hear the gentle clinking of porcelain spoons against bowls and the hum of chatter, creating a grounded atmosphere that feels distinctly unpretentious.
Know Before You Go
While the food hits the mark for freshness and portion size, be prepared for the typical rhythm of a bustling strip-mall eatery. Parking in this part of Kaneohe can get tight during peak hours, and the space can feel energetic when the lunch rush hits, so it is best suited for those who appreciate a vibrant, active environment. Whether you are ordering a classic banh mi or a hearty portion of vermicelli, the flavors remain consistent, making it a staple for anyone in the Kaneohe area hunting for a genuine bowl of noodle soup.

This place my go to for lemon grass chicken plate and the cold vermicelli noodles is good. The last 3 times I came here my cooked onions taste kinda old and tomatoes very soft. Please please please serve fresh Onions because I like this place and I love the owners the lady is very nice. Mahalo

This place has been around for a long time, and the reason is in the flavors. I'm pretty sure inside seating has been completely canceled since COVID. even then, I recommend trying this place out after a surf or take away to bring home. The bahn mi is of course delicious, but the other items are all delicious. Definitely a hard working man running the show. Stop by and show uncle some love.

Stopped by here for lunch after visiting a temple nearby. Owned by a Vietnamese couple, they were very nice and patient with us as we read through the menu and ordered. We go 3 vermicelli noodle bowls with bbq chicken and it came with and egg roll, 1 order of combo #1, flan and sodas. Everything is fresh and made to order. Reminded me of home/mom’s cooking. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. *at the time of our visit they were not doing dine in/sitting.
