About
Grill Your Own Feast in the Heart of Windward Oahu
Stepping into the Kaneohe outpost of this global Japanese BBQ chain, you are immediately greeted by the charcoal-fueled sizzle of wagyu and marinated meats hitting the personal grills built into every table. It is an interactive, high-energy dining style that turns dinner into an event, making it a reliable pick for groups, energetic families, or those looking to break up the monotony of standard sit-down meals in the Windward area.
The Flavors of the Charcoal Grill
The menu centers on the DIY experience. The signature Harami Skirt Steak in Miso marinade is a non-negotiable order, offering a rich, savory depth that caramelizes beautifully over the open flame. For those who appreciate variety, the multi-course meat platters provide a tour of different cuts, from thin-sliced beef tongue to garlic-shoyu chicken. The kitchen also turns out reliable staples like cold tofu and steaming bowls of bibimbap, providing a nice temperature contrast to the intense heat of the tabletop roasters.
A Local Windward Vibe
Located conveniently for locals moving between Kailua and Kaneohe, the space maintains a casual, bustling atmosphere. The acoustics can get lively as the dining room fills up, so it is better suited for loud laughter with friends than a hushed business meeting. Pro tip: keep an eye on your grill timing, as the high-heat charcoal is efficient and can turn a premium slice of meat into a crisp morsel faster than you might expect. Parking in this busy retail hub can sometimes require a quick lap around the lot, but the payoff of ending the meal with a warm s'more prepared right at your table is well worth the minor logistics.

If you are looking for a place where the protein practically performs a disappearing act the moment it hits your tongue, this is the spot. The quality of the meat is consistently impressive, offering those sought-after melt in your mouth morsels that make you forget you are the one doing the actual cooking. The garlic shrimp is a mandatory addition to the order, providing a perfect punch of flavor that lingers just long enough to be memorable. Beyond the grill, the atmosphere is bolstered by a genuinely friendly staff and a particularly handsome host who makes the check-in process feel friendly and smooth. It is the kind of reliable, high-quality experience that earns a permanent spot in the dinner rotation.

Our visit was deeply disappointing. We arrived on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., and were first met with a rather indifferent attitude from the host. It took an unusually long time for our waitress to greet us, which set a poor tone for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the food only made things worse. I'm not sure how edamame can be made unappetizing, but it was. The salad tasted slightly spoiled, and the meats were drowned in sauce. Overall, this experience left us not just frustrated, but genuinely resentful. We will not be returning and intend to share this experience with others. This level of service and quality is simply unacceptable. I ordered 4 items on an all you can eat and couldn't finish any of them.

We were going to try the all-you-can-eat, but instead went with the chef’s choice BBQ course. It came to $95 for the two of us. The meat quality was excellent very tender and delicious! The miso soup was a bit disappointing, but everything else was very satisfying. They gave us a big portion of kimchi. Oh, and the bibimbap had a slight buttery taste to it.

Seafood & vegetarian options. Kids menu. Finish with choice of desserts 🍨 I'm sure you will return here. It's best!

Came here for some good food and was not dissatisfied! Great portions, good flavors, incredibly friendly waitress (great job Bella!) and a full stomach. The beef sukiyaki bibimbap was delicious and something I’d definitely eat again. My daughters had the garlic noodles and spring rolls and enjoyed them a lot. We’ll be back for sure!
