About

Situated just a short drive from the historic Kona Pier and the bustling oceanfront shops, it is perfectly positioned for those wrapping up a morning of snorkeling or finishing a long day of coastal errands.
The Familiar Flavors of Palani
This outpost brings the classic Taco Bell menu to the heart of the Big Island. You will find all the standard cravings here, from the crunch of a Doritos Locos Taco to the comfort of a warm Bean Burrito. The kitchen maintains the rapid pace expected of the chain, making it a reliable choice for residents or visitors who need a meal that requires zero guesswork. It is a popular hub for both locals on their break and travelers heading toward the highway. If you visit, expect a lively, high-traffic atmosphere—it is less about a quiet dining experience and more about fueling up efficiently so you can get back to the beach or your next adventure. The service is prompt, and the accessibility from the main thoroughfare makes it a practical anchor point for your daily itinerary.

Terrible experience. I tried to buy breakfast, only drive through, so they can’t sell if you are not driving a car. This is discrimination! Please management fix the problem before your company will be out of business.

Came here with very low expectations given the bad reviews… yes the dining room was closed but drive thru was open with no wait when we came for late breakfast on a Monday. Service was super friendly and fast with our food fresh and as good as any other Taco Bell we’ve been to. Glad we chanced it!

It was a place I enjoyed to have lunch at but those 2 hour waits inside and 1 hour waits in the drive thru are ridiculous! WHATS GOING ON IN THERE! , Recently the food is not up to taco bells standards the portions the beans ,rice and meats are to the bare minimum! I hope the owner of this taco bell reads this and make some changes quickly!!!

They have improved and are serving the community well with all the long-standing faves. They do close super early, but wait times are better now. We never ever want to take for granted our hard-working, fast-food service folks who keep us hungry, long-haul commuters on a time crunch and a budget going!

Visited this location during a vacation. Listen to everyone else and run for the border from here. Honestly it would be faster and you'd still get a meal quicker by the time you got to Mexico. From entrance to drive thru only to drive out was exactly 90 minutes. Wow.

Employees must be damn Lazy. What a RipOff! The worst Taco Bell Service! First Picture is what I ordered and the Second Picture is what I supposed to receive.

One of the worse Taco Bell ever. Ordered on the app and they still made you stay in the drive through lane. I guess because they closed the inside. So now have to wait behind 8 cars even though we wanted to save time and order on the app. Corporate should really figure this place out. Mind as well just close the place. Will never go back, they are never have enough staff.

The restaurant clearly has a lot of staff, yet the service is consistently slow. This isn’t an occasional issue—it happens almost all year round. Every visit involves a long wait, and there’s absolutely no sense of improved efficiency despite having so many employees. It honestly makes you wonder what everyone is doing. If ratings could go below zero, I would definitely give this place a negative score. It truly doesn’t even deserve one star.

Managers and staff are completely incompetent. They do not help by register. They first had all customers use the kiosks. Then, they turned Kiosks OFF. Now require orders via app only. In addition, they blocked all tables. No dine in. The staff needs to go home. To corporate: please close this location for good. Customers shouldn’t be pushed around like this!!
