Subway - Kailua-Kona (Hulikoa Drive)

The people working here are so nice. I had to make sure I left a review. They make an excellent sandwich too.

Awful customer service. Employee 1991 (cashier id#) had a major attitude, downright disrespectful. If you don’t like your job, quit, and save customers from your deplorable attitude. This location has horrible reviews over months and months. Management simply must not care otherwise changes would be made.

Customer service in here today was absolutely terrible. Lots of these reviews say the workers are rude for no reason and today showed me its true. Got a rude worker who she went make my sandwich but as aggressively as possible while making rude unnecessary comments to me having specific instructions on how to make it. And on top of the bs treatment the place was filthy. Looked to be soda spilled all over the sandwich prep station! I used to like this location but today was totally uncalled for! Will not be returning for some time. Plentyyy other places in that plaza to eat at.

Not so great here. Service was quite slow and they were out of ingredients. The only worker had a cold and was coughing constantly. Next time we'll go elsewhere.

Got the big hot pastrami Saw it was $10.99 on mainland Got my bill - $18.59 Why so much more ? Was tasty but I didn’t expect that price

In general we like Subway, that’s why we came here. Slow service. Tuna sandwich ordered. There was maybe a sugar cube amount of finely shredded tuna in a sea of watered down mayonnaise. It was gross. Unfortunately it was a to go order, and not discovered until I was eating miles away. Corporate Subway should come enforce standards at this location.

I came in with my mother on february 3rd, and we were racially profiled by the one of the workers. She had a name tag and all i could see was Tang on the end. She said that we look like white people in a condescending and rude way. We have seen the development of this shopping center and I was born her 23 years ago. Management needs to do something about her this is the second time she has been incredibally rude to me.

Restaurant is closed around 7pm before the scheduled closure time (8pm) and I never be able to pick up my food. They are not answering phone calls to refund my money back. Worst experience ever!!!

Management needs to hire more people as one worker can not seem to handle the demand during lunch. There was 7 people in front of me when I walked in and from the time I stepped in line till the time I was out the door was over 40 minutes!!! She works very slow and is unorganized having to run back to the kitchen often to get stuff. While having already waited in line for over 20 minutes a different female worker walked in holding a trash grabber and not in uniform, she then proceeds to walk behind the counter and open the cookie cabinet reach in and grab cookies. All without washing her hands!!! Overall, I will no longer be coming to this subway and will instead spend the extra time driving and go to a different sandwich shop.
