Very very disappointed!! Can’t believe I paid $32 for a dinky little lasagna. I couldn’t believe how small the portion was. And it did not come with bread or salad. Food took 35 mins to arrive and my lasagna was not hot, just warm. I’m assume it was sitting in the kitchen for awhile. I left there still hungry. We thought we would try a restaurant we haven’t been to before. We won’t be going back. Will not be recommending to our friends either. Ruined our evening. It was a quiet ride home. 3 people $110 no drinks, one Diet Coke.

We showed up at 6pm for dinner and were very surprised that the place was near empty and we should have turned around and left. We were seated in the downstairs dining room which was so muggy it was uncomfortable and the heavy table cloths and atmosphere made me think it needed to be on an episode of Restaurant Impossible so we asked to be seated upstairs in open air which they reluctantly agreed. My husband ordered the Pork Belly Carbonara which looked good but the pork was so salty it was hard to eat and the pasta was undercooked, I ordered the Eggplant Parmeasan and right off the portion was way to big there was barely a hint of tomato sauce on the entire dish but there was plenty of liquid from lack of draining the undercooked pasta completely, there was so much breading on the paper thin eggplant it was just not good food I mean if your going to have Pasta in the name of the business you should probably make fresh pasta instead of dried pasta that isn’t even cooked properly. The wait staff were nice but completely unenthusiastic.. so disappointing that we waisted one of our vacation dinners there.

OMG this dinner was amazing! We really needed this after a week of eating on the run and too much fried food. Wouldn’t change a thing. Drinks were great, seasonal salad special perfect, and the ravioli special was to die for.

Only wine and the meatball pasta were good but the sauce in lasagna was sweet and the octopus was really small portion for the price. Who sprinkles sugar all over a tiramisu?!! The worst tiramisu I've ever had.

I read all the bad reviews but thought, “Our experience will be better than that!” It wasn’t. 😩 We booked a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday night. We arrived early and based on the reviews of the downstairs being muggy and damp, I asked if we could be seated upstairs. The man at the front told us that it would be a little wait but that he could probably get us a spot. We went into the bar area and it was dead. It was also very dark, muggy and made your skin feel clammy. I was glad we were going to be seated upstairs. Upstairs was breezy but extremely brightly lit with overhead can lights. The burgundy polyester tablecloths were visibly wrinkled as if they hadn’t been folded. The polyester black napkins made my skin crawl to touch. There was no tabletop lighting to create any atmosphere and they were playing 90’s rock hits from REM, U2 and the like— not classic Italian music to set the mood. Their glasses were shaped like… bamboo. They were cute but definitely didn’t fit the aesthetic at all. All of this would be totally fine in a restaurant that wasn’t trying to pass itself off as high-end. Our waiter introduced himself and told us that he was our everything tonight: waiter, busboy, etc. He was right— they only had four people working that we saw and they were all doing multiple jobs: taking orders, delivering food to tables, cleaning… They seemed understaffed and overworked. At one point, a couple who had been seated at a 2-top on the balcony decided that they didn’t want to sit there anymore (maybe it was too breezy?) and they moved themselves inside to a 4-top next to us. At first I was a little worried that their move might cause a problem for the restaurant if that table had been reserved for a 4 person party. After all, we had been made to wait for our table. But it was so dead all night that nobody else came in for that table. We placed our orders immediately after being seated at 7:30. We ordered three dishes: pork belly carbonara, chicken parmigiana and the pesto ravioli special. “Bread Service” is $6 so we decided to just be patient and wait for our food. I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant that didn’t include bread with your meal at the beginning but I also figured we could wait. We waited for over an hour. It was 8:35 when our food finally arrived. For an entire hour+ we had nothing to do but keep two hungry, bored kids busy. They didn’t even bring the kids something to color. Everyone was getting hangry by the time the food arrived and the plates were clean in a few minutes. We were all so hungry that anything would have been eaten entirely. The pesto dish was great except it was described as having “button mushrooms” They definitely weren’t button mushrooms— they were probably portobello and they were in long strips and extremely rubbery and hard to eat. We had planned to catch the trolly back to our hotel and knew that in order to catch it, we would need to be leaving the restaurant by 8:30. We were so disappointed and frustrated that we had to walk 25 minutes back to the hotel in the dark with our kids. Our bill was $95+ for three dishes— no drinks, appetizers or desserts. Absolutely ridiculous prices for the quality of atmosphere, service and food. This place is going to be in real trouble unless they start reading their many negative reviews and getting to work fixing their problems.

I had the shrimp fettuccine (added tomatoes) and it was delicious. The sauce was not overbearing and the shrimp were good sized. However, my boyfriend ordered the caesar salad and friend calamari. The salad was not tossed properly early and lacked flavor; and the calamari was cooked well but severely under-flavored. If it weren’t for the tarter and then marinara, he wouldn’t have eaten more than a bite.

This was an impromptu date night with my boyfriend, totally unplanned. But we were hungry and I had been seeing this restaurant popping up on my Open Table when booking my guests dinner reservations (I work as a concierge). There isn't a lot of good Italian restaurant options on this island, so thought we would give it a try. I'm glad we did. Both the food and the service were very good. We were seated almost immediately, which was nice (though I always recommend making reservations at restaurants whenever possible). The restaurant has no outdoor seating (in case this is a deal breaker for anyone) and our table location did get quite cold, maybe there was an A/C vent right above us, so maybe a light jacket would be a good idea. I had the mushroom stuffed eggplant parm (it was so good!) and the lobster pasta (also yummy). I wish they had a chicken marsala or an eggplant parm dish. For dessert we had the lilikoi creme brulee, also delicious. I definitely look forward to going back and trying a few different things. My husband and I went for dinner around 7, got seated right away, we asked for the bar area they said no problem. Ordered soup of the day, it was potato leek very yummy! Both of our entrees were delicious, as was drinks (aperol one, and a Bellini) and dessert. Great service, great food! We will be back

I think we caught them on a seriously understaffed night. We arrived at 8:41 for a 845 reservation, the hostess went upstairs (there’s no seating upstairs) and disappeared until after 850 and we were the only ones there. She came back after 2 more staff came by asking if we were being helped then seemingly went to find her, and then asked us if “we were ready?” Hmm. That should have been a sign to just leave but we were starving. Won’t go into the gory details, but we waited a very, very long time for food. Very nice and apologetic waitress, and we got 2 desserts comped bc of the wait, but it was egregious. The food itself was pretty good, enjoyed the squid ink pasta the most, some of the appetizers were tiny and overpriced, like the cheesy garlic bread was four very small pieces. Don’t fault staff, appreciate their efforts, but just don’t open or turn us away if you can’t perform regular service in a timely fashion.

A bit of a bummer, found our meal to be expensive for the quality received. Enjoyed the clam appetizer and the lady finger tiramisu but everything else we tried was mediocre. My pesto was pretty dry and the meatball spaghetti didn’t have nearly enough sauce. Portions are heavy, which helps solace the price point, but in general our pastas were not al dente and a bit over cooked in my opinion.
