Fuel Your Kona Adventure

Located right in the heart of Kailua-Kona, this Jamba outpost serves as a reliable pit stop for locals and visitors navigating the busy corridors near Palani Road. Whether you are prepping for a morning snorkel excursion or winding down after exploring the Big Island’s rugged coastline, the shop provides a quick hit of cold, fruity energy that cuts through the tropical humidity.

The Tropical Blend Experience

The menu focuses on consistency, offering the classic fruit-forward smoothies and acai bowls that have become a hallmark of the brand. Expect the familiar hum of high-powered blenders creating a rhythmic soundtrack as you step in from the heat. The strawberry wild and mango-a-go-go remain top-tier choices for those needing a massive dose of Vitamin C. For a more substantial snack, their bowls come topped with fresh granola and honey, providing a satisfying crunch that contrasts with the smooth, frozen fruit base.

A Local Pit Stop

While the space is compact, it is optimized for high-volume foot traffic, making it an ideal spot for a grab-and-go breakfast. Be aware that the Palani Road area can get quite congested with vehicle traffic during peak hours, so plan your arrival accordingly. The interior stays reliably air-conditioned, offering a brief, frigid escape from the Kona sun. It is a no-frills environment, perfect for those who prioritize efficiency and a predictable, refreshing taste while roaming the island.

I have only had Jamba one other time in my life and don’t remember it. It was so delicious and the staff were friendly . Wish there was one in Alaska

I won’t be back! Poor customer service, no fresh juice, not a welcoming environment. The guava lava is ok, but not what I went in for

Alexis was super rude. When I walked in she glared at me. When I ordered she literally said nothing even when I asked how her day was going she rolled her eyes and never spoke. Her coworkers looked like they couldn’t stand her. She was very rude. She should be working at McDonald’s.

This was my first time trying Jamba Juice. I was really surprised at how run-down and shabby the interior of the store looked. It was empty of customers and gave off really depressing vibes. However, service was fast and friendly. I ordered a Coffee Dream Machine, which was a vanilla flavored, blended coffee, frappaccino-type thing. It was expensive and not as good as what you can get for less money at local coffee shops. No wonder this place was empty! They really need to remodel their store and lower their prices to compete with local coffee/smoothie shops.

The manager was awesome. They made my drink wrong and then made the right one. The employee was so rude. She tried to tell me that the drink had chocolate in it, and it didn’t . She started to raise her voice to me, which is a huge no-no, but I wasn't intimidated. I believe in getting what you pay for. She escalated the situation to the manager, who fixed it. Overall bad vibe in the place like the only person who cared was the manager. I hope he gets some decent help.

Be aware of this place. I ordered a strawberry bowl and restaurant notified driver they don’t have strawberries and will replace it with banana. I didn’t want it and asked them to cancel the order. The person on call was rude and reluctant to help straight away told me they can’t cancel and I have to call uber eats. Uber eats told me to ask the store to cancel it. This store is so terrible, not sure what kind of scam they are running. After 2 hours I am with no food and no money. If you don’t have ingredients, don’t take order, if taken, Atleast call customer and tell them the issue or cancel it. Why customer has to run around for his money and food after doing everything.

I just order 4 drinks, 1 bowl, and two Jamba fruit snacks. My wife asked for a single cube of ice and they wanted to charge us $0.25 for it. And my wife explained she stepped on gum in their store and wanted to use the ice to help get the gum off her slipper. Gentleman with ponytail still said “No” you have to pay $0.25 for one cube of ice. Won’t be spending anymore money here unless they fix this. And will spread the word.

Sadly this Jambas isnt what it used to be! As one of the last original businesses, I remember from growing up on the island, still left in Kona Coast center its sad they dont makr more of an effort to be great. Service is slow and even for me as a local not particularly friendly, our drinks were just meh. I had hoped I might revive an old tradition and stop at Jambas when visiting 'town,' but yeah...nevermind. Too bad Kona Jamba juice you guys used to be a go-to for fun and marginally "healthy" drinks now its no joy coming here so why even go? But alas none of the chain stores have the same spirit anymore I guess ://

I walked in at 5:25pm and the cashier said, “Do you know what you want because we’re closing.” They close at 6pm but they were already counting the register and had put all the chairs up. Once I got my smoothie and left, he locked the door behind me at 5:30pm. I watched as someone else tried to get in but couldn’t. Maybe this is an island thing, but don’t go to this spot within an hour of closing. Also when I walked in it had a really weird odor. This was very disappointing as I was really craving a good smoothie and could have gone somewhere else. Next time, I will.
