Bleu Cupcakery

Obscure opening hours and menu. There's no hours on Google Map, but their Instagram indicated that it's only open at 11am on Saturday. It was closed at 12:45pm when we went. That's early for everything to be sold out, and we'd prefer if they announce it on Instagram to save us the drive. There's no menu on their website but in their FAQ they recommended people to call. We called 3 times over 2 days and messaged them on Instagram, but no one responded.

Love their cupcakes and cake. Must get there early because they tend to get sold out all the time. Call before going to the store to check if they still have cupcakes. Since they were out of cupcakes we ordered the Ube Mouse cake and the lilikoi glazed croissant with custard stuffing.

Becky at Bleu is so kind and their baked goods are absolutely delicious. I got a lilikoi cupcake and the Ube cookie dough brownie and oh my goodness.. I ate it all in one go!! Would definitely recommend for something sweet 🧁

We planned our boy’s birthday at the last minutes and we were so happy that we found this place, the lady is super nice and welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stop often!

The negative reviews I feel are isolated. Come on people, during COVID times, what do you expect?! Schedule changes and modified store hours - inevitable. The ladies at Bleu Cupcakery are SUPER professional and customer oriented. I say to anyone: plan ahead, check the website and communicate. We are from Idaho and had our wedding on Kona. Found Bleu on Google, but also looked them up on IG. I sent a DM probably about 2 weeks before the wedding and they made it happen. I received a reply always within 24hrs. The suggestions they gave me for flavors were awesome! I had lilikoi for the top tier, ube and carrot cake cupcakes. Our family raved about all 3. The buttercream frosting was so smooth and delicious! Not too sweet. The cakes itself were moist. I wish I could have met and thanked you in person. Mahalo nui loa!!! You guys made it so easy.

My family stopped in and we absolutely loved our cupcakes!!! They where so creative with their flavors my husband got a poke.. yes you heard correctly, a poke cupcake with poi filling and he was blown away. It was fantastic!! They also had a mango bacon unfortunately we didn’t try, but it looked really yummy. We also got an Uber Chantilly pastry that was deliciously amazing. We live in Kona, but have been going to cupcakes boom in Hilo for a couple years and let me tell you we are loving blue cupcakery I hope they are open more often in the future this place is awesome!!!
