Black Rock Pizza - Kona

The pizza was delicious. The sauce was probably top five pizza sauces I have ever had. The crust was not too thin or thick and had an amazing crunch. I absolutely enjoyed every bite and already look forward to going again. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

One of the top 5 worst pizzas I have ever had. The pineapple was the only ingredient that tasted good. Hozin bbq sauce was pure water and tasted horrible Kailua pig was so dry it tasted like sand The "rock sauce" took close to 30 hours and many meals before I stopped tasting it. The pineapple was good Needless to say I won't be stopping here again

Great place, had the opportunity to visit another location before, so it’s great to be back. Food was still excellent, highly recommend for anyone who wants some good pizza. The large pizza is definitely enough for a group, so keep that in mind when you’re ordering.

This was our first time at Black Rock Pizza in Kona, and we were impressed. We built a medium pizza with spicy marinara, pepperoni, and sausage, plus breadsticks—and we absolutely loved it. The pizza was fantastic, but the spicy marinara sauce really stole the show with its bold flavor and just the right kick. I wish there were a Black Rock Pizza in California, because I’d be here all the time. The prices felt very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the visit even better. I also appreciated the convenient self-serve kiosk for grabbing plates and utensils. They’re a Coke place, so I grabbed a Diet Coke to pair with the meal. If you’re in Kona, you should definitely check out Black Rock Pizza. We’ll definitely eat there again on our next visit to Kona.

When your son in law still raves about a place he got pizza from 3 years ago, you go and try out this absolutely delicious pizza!! The sauce, the toppings, the crust!! Have mercy!! Best pizza ever!! We will most definitely add this place to our collection of restaurants!!

It was busy. Place was packed. It was our 2nd time there in 2 weeks of vacation, it's that good! Bartender (we sat at the bar) was a hoot!

10/10! the pizza is phenomenal but the service from Jayden is what made the experience memorable. we came in right on close but he still let us order, let us take our time, was friendly and cool throughout the entire meal and didn’t rush us to finish even though we were the last ones there. Experiences like this at a restaurant is so rare. Dudes a legend. please give them your business, you won’t be disappointed

Black Rock Pizza is the best on the island.!! We have tried 5 other places and this has been the best by far. We tried the BLP up in Captain Cook last time here and it was delicious too. From now on when visiting the Big Island we won’t bother with the other pizza places again. We ordered online and it was ready to go when we got there. Eazy peazy…

Manhattan resident here. This is amazing pizza. Order it. The ham, pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeno one is the empty box picture. It was devoured much too immediately to have been photographed. The Greek salad was 🔥 and the dressing appropriately light. The Greek pizza was also delightful. The delivery was professional and prompt. Thanks guys
