Awesome location with nice outdoor seating. Had Okazu plate which was very good. Banana Lumpia desert was awesome.

Ordered veggie burger and was told it’s made with veggies… I confirmed it was made with veggies and no beans but turns out it was beyond burger. Complete let down. The owner was only interested in selling more. I would have saved my appetite and money if I did not eat here

Got the Hawaiian plate because I love Lau Lau. I believe it was cash only. Very pretty landscaping and food was good quality and amazing.

This is an ono (delicious) place to go in the area. The Mac salad is the best I have had. I got the seafood plate and it was great. Do wish I was going to be back in the area so I can try the Hawaiian plate instead. There's also an adorable, sweet dog who might hang out with you while you wait for your food. But if dogs aren't for you, don't worry the dog isn't overly energetic and in fact seems to enjoy its own personal space so will likely leave you be. Parking and seating there though the food is in takeout containers so can easily be taken on the road if desired.

Hidden off the highway, but worth the stop and for sure one of the best eats on the island. Small business with lots of love and character.

A great place to eat after visiting the Waipio Valley overlook. Lots of choices for food and drink. Picnic tables and sunbrellas, plenty of parking, ping pong table for while you wait.

Excellent food! We were fortunate to visit right before they closed for the night. We had the Hawaiian Special, which was a combination of island specialties. We also had the Korean chicken, which was excellent. Our entrees were served with salad, rice, noodles, handmade salsa, and Taro.

We stopped at the food truck after leaving Waipio Valley, looking for a small bite to tide us over until we got back to Kona. As others have noted, the prices were fair and customer service was excellent. The bacon cheeseburger we shared was delicious - perfectly cooked and generously sized. Macaroni salad was good, although a little smaller than we were expecting. Overall, we were very pleased and would go again!

One star because it said it was opened on Sunday till 5pm. Drove all the way down there to find it closed. Was looking forward to eating Hawaiian food and supporting a local business. They need to update their business hours. Very disappointing.

Truly an incredible local food trunk experience I’ve ever had ! Truly recommend their Hawaiian full of mix of local delight and the walnut cake is simply to die for !
