Pe'ahi Farm Stand and Cafe
About
A Taste of Upcountry Maui
Tucked away on the lush north shore of Maui, Pe'ahi Farm Stand and Cafe serves as a vital anchor for the Haiku community. This isn't your typical roadside stop; it functions as a vibrant intersection for locals grabbing a morning fuel-up before heading toward the legendary big-wave surf breaks nearby. You will smell the sharp, earthy scent of freshly pulled ginger and turmeric before you even step through the door.
What to Expect
The cafe prioritizes hyper-local sourcing, meaning the menu shifts with the rhythms of the island. Expect bowls brimming with garden-fresh greens, vibrant dragon fruit smoothies, and daily specials that highlight whatever was harvested that morning from the surrounding fertile volcanic soil. It is the ideal spot for a post-hike recharge or a slow morning where the only agenda is watching the mist roll over the nearby forest.
The Local Experience
The atmosphere leans heavily into the relaxed, barefoot elegance that defines Haiku life. You will often hear the hum of conversation from neighborhood farmers mixed with the distant, rhythmic chirping of tropical birds. Keep in mind that space at the wooden tables can fill up fast during the mid-morning rush, and the parking lot can be a bit of a tight squeeze, so arriving early is the best way to secure your spot. It is a no-frills, authentic experience designed for those who value farm-to-table integrity over polished aesthetics.

We had been to this coconut stand twice on the same trip. And it was really good both times. The owner was awesome and the coconuts were great.

Nice stall by local business selling coconut water and other juices. They also have sitting area to just park your car, get out and enjoy.

Great local sellers. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Everything was fresh and they had different fruits depending on the day. We tried eggfruit there and had to go back the next day to eat it again. The coconut and sugarcane were amazing as well!

On the way to Hana, we stopped by this little coconut 🥥 stand, with some other shops and food truck. The coconut cost 🥥🌴 is $10. They cut it, give us some straws to enjoy the coconut water. Refreshing!! 🥰. Then they whack it open... Hahaha 🤣, so we get to eat the coconut 🥥 meant. Yummy 😋 We also tried some Bao Bun with pork, pickled carrots and some micro green.

The perfect stop either before or after the Road to Hana! We arrived for breakfast, and I ordered a delicious pineapple smoothy and warm banana bread. Both were so fresh and out of this world delicious! My husband enjoyed a green smoothie - his go-to to get his day started. Our server was so kind she found us at the Maui Crafts booth so our food and drinks would be fresh! The craft's booth had wonderful jewelry pieces as well as adorable shell turtles made by the owners nephew. And of course there are always chickens and roosters around :) An amazing start to our day!

Omg what a find! Only about 3 month young, they are putting out some awesome food and drinks. We had a Poke bowl, turkey avo spinach wrap and a piahi pitaya smoothie......all from out of this world. When on the road, stop in, say hi and give them a try.
