About
A Fusion of Southeast Asian Staples in West Oahu
Finding a reliable spot for both aromatic Thai curries and steaming bowls of Vietnamese noodle soup in Ewa Beach can be a challenge, but Thai Pho Ewa bridges that gap with ease. Located in the heart of this growing community, the kitchen focuses on high-volume, soul-warming comfort food that hits the spot after a long day of dealing with H-1 traffic.
What to Expect on Your Plate
The menu highlights a balanced mix of classics. The Pho features a clear, spice-forward broth that rewards those who pile on the fresh basil, bean sprouts, and lime provided at the table. On the Thai side of the spectrum, the Pad Thai arrives with a distinct sweetness and the essential crunch of crushed peanuts, while their red curry leans heavily into creamy coconut milk and tender bamboo shoots. It is the kind of reliable cooking that values portion size and consistent spice levels over unnecessary pretense.
The Neighborhood Dining Experience
Step inside and you will notice a no-frills, utilitarian approach to the dining room. It is brightly lit and straightforward—the perfect place for a quick lunch or a casual weeknight dinner where you want to eat well without the fuss of a long wait. While the parking lot can get a bit congested during the evening rush, the efficiency of the service means you are never waiting long for your takeout order or your table. Whether you are a local living in the surrounding subdivisions or just passing through the Ewa area, Thai Pho Ewa provides a dependable, flavor-packed meal that delivers exactly what you crave.

A pretty tucked away spot for when you're craving Thai or Pho. I personally love their Mango Salad. Similar to Som Tum (Papaya Salad) but they use green mango that's right at the cusp of ripening so you get firm texture but a slightly sweeter taste. Highly recommend that. Their Pink Milk is made with the traditional Thai Sala syrup and they do serve it with Boba, but I suggest you get it without it to get the "traditional" version.

We are usually in Hawai’i several months at a time working. We stay in Kapolei and today we decided to try something new! We were amazed at how delicious the food was in a small restaurant in a shopping area! It was some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had and we’ve had original cooked by Thai friends. The food and service were beyond our expectations and we will absolutely go back as well as tell our friends who visit here! The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the staff was beyond helpful, friendly, and quick! We highly recommend this place and we will definitely go back!!

Arrived here for lunch around 11:30 AM and was able to get a table right away as most of the place was empty. This place can accommodate anyone from two people up to 10 or more. I noticed as I was there there was a lot of takeout orders, which is probably why the place wasn’t filled. We both ordered entrées. One of them was green veggie curry with a side of jasmine rice. The other one was vermicelli tofu, both were delicious. If I were to critique anything, the veggie curry was very watery, and the vermicelli tofu had way too much lettuce. I would recommend this place.
