Tea Time Taiwan (98-1238 Kaahumanu Street)

This was so good that we went two days in a row. High quality and very reasonable prices. The melona tea was really good. My husband got the hot lychee tea the first time and really liked it. I forgot what my sister got but she really liked it too.

Bare with me on this long story.. My son recently discovered that he likes "boba" type drinks (he likes every topping except actual boba lol), and he asked while we were out if we could get a smoothie drink. We were near waikele and went to the food trucks where Google said there was a truck that had milk tea, but it wasn't there. So, I looked up somewhere on our way home. This place was on the map with a 4.7 star rating and almost 200 reviews. Considering most other boba places with ratings that high had 25 or less reviews, I decided that was the winner. And if you don't do what I did and look at the map, tell the driver "it's between Black Angus and Gyutaku" then not look at the map again, it's really easy to find 😆 hubby spent a lot of time in that area and I assumed it was somewhere in the times/vca/black Angus shopping center. But it's actually in it's own building makai direction of vca. There was street parking right out front and it looks like there's parking in back. The lady was super patient as we made our decisions and helped us pick when we couldn't decide. The end results were great!

I absolutely love this place! I have weekly Wednesday appointments upstairs in the same building, and before I go, I always come down and get a boba tea. The owner, Yvonne (Sp?), is so sweet and makes her own tea. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the price is excellent. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend swinging in and giving this place a shot. Looking forward to my next visit! 🤙🏽
