About
A Taste of the Philippines in the Heart of Pearl City
Stepping into Pampanga Kitchen, you are immediately met with the savory, comforting aroma of slow-cooked adobo and garlic-fried rice. This local staple brings the authentic, bold flavors of the Philippines directly to the Kamehameha Highway corridor. The dining room reflects a no-frills, community-focused approach where the chatter of regulars often blends with the rhythmic sounds of the kitchen staff preparing fresh batches of lumpia.
Signature Filipino Comforts
The menu serves as a genuine tribute to the culinary traditions of Pampanga—the culinary capital of the Philippines. Patrons frequently return for the classic crispy pata, featuring skin that crackles with every bite, and the rich, savory sisig that hits just the right note of heat and acidity. Each dish is prepared with traditional techniques, ensuring that the essence of Kapampangan cuisine remains intact. Whether you are craving a hearty breakfast of longganisa or looking for a comforting bowl of pancit for lunch, the portions are consistently generous, catering perfectly to those who appreciate home-style cooking.
What to Expect
The environment is casual and bustling, making it an excellent spot for a quick lunch break or a relaxed family dinner. It is the kind of place where you order at the counter and find a comfortable seat to watch the world go by outside the window. Be prepared for a lively atmosphere during peak hours, as this spot is a favorite among Pearl City residents. While parking along the main highway can occasionally get competitive, the reward is a satisfying meal that captures the true spirit of island-style Filipino hospitality. It is a straightforward, honest dining experience that prioritizes flavor over flash.

I’ve gone twice, and they never open at the scheduled time. They should just change their opening time to later, then. And when they *are* “open,” they don’t have any food. ❗️👎

Went there for the chicken papaya soup based on my good buddy’s recommendation. He was right, it’s great with lots of chicken, papaya and kalamunguy leaves. It comes with jasmine rice. Also, got the gisantes and pinakbet combo with pancit. It was all delicious. Parked in the 2nd level parking structure downstairs and the escalators lead right up to the entrance of the food court where Pampanga is located in.

The restaurant is bright and clean, parking is easy and convenient, and the staff is very friendly. Having said that, the mungo bean soup was just average and for the price (about $14 for a good sized bowl with a scoop of rice) I expected more or larger pieces of pork.
