About
A Pearl City Neighborhood Staple
Tucked away in the heart of Pearl City, Eight50 has carved out a reputation as a reliable go-to for those craving elevated local comfort food. The space feels like a true community hub, where the hum of conversation often competes with the clatter of the kitchen and the steady stream of diners coming in from the nearby commercial districts.
The Flavors of the Islands
The menu leans heavily into Hawaii-inspired fusion, prioritizing hearty portions that satisfy after a long day in the Oahu sun. You will find staples like their signature sliders, which are famously generous with toppings, and a variety of creative flatbreads that seem to be the table-favorite across the dining room. The aroma of garlic and house-made sauces often fills the air the moment the glass doors swing open.
What to Expect
The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, making it a solid choice for a midweek dinner or a relaxed Friday night catch-up with friends. It isn’t a place for hushed whispers; the energy is lively, occasionally loud, and perfectly reflective of the local Pearl City lifestyle. If you visit during peak hours, keep in mind that the parking lot can be a bit of a maze, but the local craft beer selection and the consistency of the kitchen make the navigation worth the effort. Whether you are grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a round of drinks, this spot captures the straightforward, no-nonsense hospitality that residents of Central Oahu appreciate.

Great locals spot for pupus and drinks - connected to the bowling alley but definitely maintaining its own vibe. We capitalized on their gameday specials, which included specials on beers (we enjoyed Kirin drafts for $5) as well as food (we went for the loaded beef nachos for $15). The bartender told us that the nachos were half-portioned, but they were still plenty for us to enjoy! Plenty of bar seating, TV's, darts, etc with easy free parking. Would definitely come back if I lived nearby!

Great bar for a chill outing. Specializing in whiskey with a chill atmosphere, the R&B really sets the mood. Open any day of the week, they accommodate for any occasion. Also, the lychee drink they make in house is a banger. 10/10 recommend.

Great place for pau hana drinks after work. Dont like drinking in Pearl City but this place has a great whiskey selection and a great vibe. Great place to wait out traffic and watch the NBA Playoffs or sports👍 Coworkers love this place and the prices are fair compared to other places in the area🤙 Located in Leeward Bowl, not what youd expect. Place can get packed and noisy on the weekends but the bartenders are easy on the eyes, quick and knowledgable. 4 stars🤙
