I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo with a ceasar salad and i thought the pasta seemed not authentic like from a box but still good. The chicken was just good but not as juicy as others I've had. Salad was good also. The food took a little long to get to us but not too bad. The atmosphere was classy but didn't give me the Italian feel but more of a museum feel but acceptable. Servers were very courteous and nice so no issues there. Prices for food were average and overall I would go again but now I know what to expect.

had such a wonderful dinner here recently! The Italian food was spot-on, with portions that were generous and tasted like they were made with real care. The atmosphere is simple but really elegant, which made it a perfect spot for a nice night out. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try out more of their classic dishes.

Greeted right away. Solo diner. I didn't feel rushed, Jen was incredible and the food runner was entertaining. I loved the Spaghetti meatballs with meat sauce, you get 3 meatballs with your dinner, all made in house except the pasta. I wouldn't get the ceasar. If you want chopsalad. The dressing was okay but I wish they had anchovies mashed in their dressing. The calamari was just over crispy making it chewy, but the sauce on the calamari delicious. Ended up with a brownie to end my meal, instead of lamperts ice cream you could use hagendaz would be nice. Thank you.

We wanted to try some local chain and found this jewel in Kauai. We ordered pesto grilled chicken, greek style pasta and a salad. The greek style pasta and the salad was top notch. We finished with the desert of the day - Tiramisu and it was one of the best I had. If you are in Lihue and want some fine dining experience, good food and Italian cuisine, this is the place to go.

Excellent Chicken Parm !! Whenever we Come to Kauai from Ohio we have to eat at KP at least once during our trip. We love their sauce !! Wonderful atmosphere. Food comes out hot. Our waitress Mera was excellent ! We hope to come back in 2 years and we look forward to dining here again. !!

Yep! 5 stars. Not many of my reviews deserve 5 stars but Kauai Pasta Lihue hit all the checks on my list on this visit, my first. Except for the lack of parking on the premesis, the whole experience was extremely pleasant and pleasurable. Staff was attentive and super friendly and professional. The food was so flavorful and presented well. The place was full with patrons on a Tuesday but we did not have to wait for a table. The music was present but not obtrusive. It created a trendy cool vibe. The ambience was classy but not overly so. Prices were upscale but honestly, for the whole package, there were right there in a sweet spot. So very highly recommend. Your experience may not be ours but we are so glad we ate here at KP Lihue.

A+ This place impressed me.We had just landed in Lihue and we needed a meal very badly. This restaurant is very close to the airport. It's got a great ambience and the food was just incredible. We opted for their daily special that got us a side salad, a pasta entree and some garlic bread. We ordered ice tea as well which turned out very refreshing. The whole meal experience was close to perfect! Good ambiance, delicious Italian food and even better service. Special mention to Jackie our server who was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Don’t mind that we ate most of the bruschetta, it was great! Large portions, really great service. I love how the noise of the space was just right for intimacy and could speak across the table. Loved the meatballs. We were a party of two.

The menu options taste as good or better than they look! I had the veal dish with mushroom sauce and a calamari appetizer, and now I’m one happy guy! I’ve been eating a lot of local fish daily on this island visit, so it’s nice to experience homemade, “back home” comfort food … for a change. Super tasty and fresh! This place is always hopping, so make a reservation! (I had to add to this critique on a separate visit, and I must say the pasta with meat sauce is mind blowing! The overhead background music is very progressive & chill, which I love. This owner and restaurant are very hip and it’s got it all happening on Kauai!)

Friendly staff, the food is prepared quickly and it is super delicious. The temperature is not as cold as other restaurants in the US and I liked that. I've been there twice and it's been great. I had the Caesar salad, which is delicious. Especially the dressing. The spaghetti and meat sauce was also delicious, but nothing special (if you're used to Italian food). But the sauce felt homemade, which I liked. The absolute best dish to try is the truffle fries. They are the best fries I've ever had in my life. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
