Kenji Burger

Food was amazing, service was great and there was no waiting on anything! Server came by multiple times to check and see if we needed anything and the atmosphere was perfect for all kinds of groups in my opinion!

Their Kenji burger and Furikake fries were really good. The service was alright. The video they were playing on TV was slightly unsettling because it was videos of people hunting fishes, sharks and octopuses. At one point, the diver was playing with the caught octopus, so it made the meal experience slightly unpleasant. I will do a takeaway next time, because the burger was still real good.

Giving 5/5 stars cause we had a really satisfying and delicious meal here where everything was served fresh and hot. Dining in is worth it! Kenji’s burger was absolutely delicious with a thick juicy patty complemented well with fresh vegetables, including tasty rockets, as well as lots of sauce and a slice of yummy cheese. The bun was also slightly grilled so there’s a small crunch on the inside. Loved every bite! Furikake fries were served hot and drizzled with enough sauce such that every fry had a good dose. Dining in was worthwhile when food gets served extra hot and fresh! Highly recommended and would want to return for more!

These burgers are the BEST! We are talking flavor town for sure! We will go back a couple times before we fly home. You have to try these if you love flavors dancing in your mouth!

My husband and I visited Kauai with another couple. This was our 1st and their 2nd time in Kauai. They've been to this restaurant before and wanted us to experience the food. I Had the Truffle burger with Furikake fries the 1st time we stopped in. And then tried the Misoyaki Fish sandwich when we stopped in a few days later. Everything was so delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect from the fries but LOVED them! Great, friendly service both times.

If you’re in Lihue and craving a solid, flavorful bite, Kenji Burger is absolutely worth a stop. The burger was delicious—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. You can tell they put real care into getting the flavors to pop without overcomplicating things. The fries deserve a special mention too—both the regular fries and the Furikake fries were surprisingly good. Crispy, hot, and perfectly salted, they’re the kind of fries you can’t stop eating. We also tried the salads, and they were fresh, well-balanced, and far better than the usual afterthought you get at burger joints. Overall, Kenji Burger nails that hard-to-find combo of casual, creative, and consistently tasty. Highly recommended for a quick, satisfying meal in Lihue.

By far one of the best burgers I ate on the island!! Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. My wife absolutely loved the chicken Katsu burger, it was to die for!!! Would definitely come back on our next visit to Lihue again. About 20 to 22 per person!

The food is tasty, but also on the sweet side. The burger and fries had a similar teriyaki type of sauce that was delicious, but quickly became too sweet for me. The service seemed to consider itself "restaurant sit down, " but our table wasn't clean, our waters weren't refilled, and there were no other efforts that one would expect to earn a tip.

Small friendly place. Excellent burgers with caramelized onions. Hubby had kenji burger, I had truffle burger. Both tasty! Also had furitake fries. Absolutely yummy! Definitely try them with any burger. Truffle burger is a must for you mushroom lovers. We also had sweet green iced tea which was delicious. It's a small place. Has limited seating. We were there around 6 pm on a Tuesday and we're able to get seated no problem. Located in a strip mall made it easy to find easy to park.

Stop by after hearing about this place on someone’s review of Kauai restaurant. Good fusion of Japanese/American. The place is small to dine in a but we hit it at a good time. It was clean and the service was fast. The kids were big fans of the fries. All the sauces were flavorful but not overwhelming. Overall we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.
