Maui Fish'n Chips

Popped in for lunch. Had never had anything besides cod in my life, so my husband and I got mahi and ono to share and try. Absolutely delicious, and both distinct but couldn't say one was better than the other. Also, their chips are top notch. So crispy, so delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will probably be back before our trip is over.

Got the fried ono fish and chips and rice pared with Aloha Guava Nectar. Everything was great, portion sizes are huge and the batter was unique and good -very flavorful not greasy! A must stop for a quick but delicious bite to eat.

Food is delicious and fresh! The Mac salad is macaroni and potato salad mixed and it was really good. All fish is fresh and local caught. Owners are the one cooking and serving you and they are so helpful and nice. Best place I ate at during my trip for lunch or dinner.

We were absolutely blown away by this place! We did combo mahi mahi and ono with volcano fries, a kids fish n chips and a kids teriyaki chicken. We also had the potato Mac salad and Cole slaw! All of it was so delicious! The flavor is so good and the folks running the place were very kind and helpful! Food came quick and we all left very happy!

This is a great place for fish and chips and fish tacos. No doubt they are quality focused here as they hand batter each filet when it's ordered. Very nice and friendly staff. The fish is fresh and crispy, not limp. The coleslaw is delicious and not runny! I really love this place. The only constructive criticism I will give is on the tacos themselves. They are great but this is what could make them better... 1) Using fresh made flour tortillas instead of corn, 2) If using corn, double up the tortillas or make them larger, 3) Although the slaw is excellent, there is too much of it and overpowers the smaller fish fillet. Use less slaw OR a bigger fillet.

Picnic tables out front were available to quickly enjoy fresh hot fish and chips, best we had in Maui! Worth the trip to find and enjoy this strip mall back corner shop. Friendly laid back staff were very kind and friendly.

Best fish and chips on Maui. The batter is light and crispy. Eat it at the B restaurant!!! Very important, as soon as you cover the fish & chips the light flaky batter will get moist. Still good, but to experience it at its best eat it hot and fresh. The use the best mahi mahi, frozen at sea, tastes like fresh! Very mild, zero fishy taste. You will not be disappointed and glad you found this hidden gem us locals love to eat at.

After searching for a place open on New Year’s Day, we stumbled upon this gem. The friendly, kind, gregarious owner took our order and offered helpful suggestions for our party of 8. We all enjoyed the food, especially the flavors of their volcano fries and poke! They offer a variety of sauces and games to keep little ones entertained! Mahalo and 2 thumbs up from us!

Great place for a quick lunch. Chicken, fries, rice, and poke we're all excellent. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. Tables are outside but covered from the elements. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. Will definitely return when we're back on the island.
