Insider Dining & Tips
Because the Beach House is a premier destination on the South Shore, planning is essential. Reservations are highly recommended and should be secured several weeks in advance, especially if you hope to snag a table with an unobstructed ocean view for sunset. If you aren't able to secure a prime booking, consider arriving early to enjoy a craft cocktail at the bar, which offers a great vantage point of the horizon. The restaurant is popular for special occasions, so do not hesitate to note any celebrations in your reservation request to ensure your table placement is prioritized.
Location & Parking
Located at 5022 Lawai Road, the Beach House is perfectly positioned near the Lawai Beach area. The restaurant offers convenient valet parking, which is highly recommended as street parking in the immediate vicinity can be limited, particularly during the busy sunset rush. After your meal, a quick stroll along the coastline allows you to soak in the salt air and the tranquil ambiance that makes this part of Kauai so special.

Great Place to celebrate a special Occasion.
Even just 2 people, The hostess was able to give us a table with un obstructed views of the sunset. Our waitress Christine was excellent. Service was great. The food was very good. My friend ordered the lobster with pasta, which was excellent and I ordered the boneless Rib Eye with 2 shrimp and mash potatoes. The Pot stickers were good but over priced. Sunset was beautiful. Valet parking is available. French Press coffee. Good Basque Cheesecake. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Beautiful Views, Great Food, and Worth It
Beach House Restaurant in Kauai was a wonderful experience. The view is absolutely beautiful, especially around sunset, and it really adds to the atmosphere. The food was excellent, the drinks were great, and the setting made it feel like a special night out.

Just be prepared that it is on the pricey side, so it’s not the cheapest meal on the island. That said, the combination of ocean views, quality food, and drinks made it a memorable stop in Kauai. Highly recommend for a nice evening out.

Tourist trap with not so fresh fish
Noisy tourist trap that wasn’t very clean. We ordered the scallops and one of them was straight ammonia. I didn’t say anything at first as I thought it was my tastebuds then my husband confirmed it. We told the waiter and he took 20% off our bill but kept selling that dish that night.

I’ve notice Kauai doesn’t have the fish selections that Maui does. The best fish we had on the island was at Tide Pools at the Grand Hyatt. Better yet, go to Maui and hit Mamas. It’s a tourist trap too and crazy expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent FRESH fish and delicious cocktails. We would not return to The Beach House:
