Thai Food By Pranee (5050 Uakea Rd)

Great Thai spot tucked away in the jungle along the Road to Hāna. It ended up being one of our favorite food stops on the drive. Everything we ate was delicious, and I appreciated that they had good vegetarian options as well. After spending hours on the road, having flavorful food in a relaxed outdoor setting surrounded by greenery was perfect. The atmosphere felt casual and authentic, and it was a nice break from typical tourist stops. We’d absolutely stop again next time we drive the Road to Hāna.

While traveling the Road to Hāna, we stopped at Thai Food by Pranee, and I’m so glad we did. The staff was friendly, the tables were clean, and I really liked that you could watch them cook your food right in front of you. I had the stir-fry chicken with cashews, along with fried rice (chicken and shrimp for protein), and it was seriously so amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I definitely overate because it tasted that good. I highly recommend this place if you’re making the drive to Hāna!

This place was outstanding. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was top notch. Special shout out to the chef that noticed our daughter wasn’t eating her food, so he brought her some fresh pineapple!

We stumbled upon this amazing Thai spot! The food had so much flavor and had just the right amount of spice. It felt like a local place and had a very chill atmosphere. I highly recommend the papaya fried fish salad. Definitely a 10/10.

Best Thai food in the USA. Must get the crispy fish with green mango salad. Thai tea also good. We went back twice.

OMG! A local individual advised us to check out Pranee's Thai and promised us we'd for sure appreciate the quality of the food served and we couldn't have been more delighted to enjoy the Thai cuisine personally cooked up by Pranee herself! We ordered the pad thai with shrimp, the drunken noodles with fried pork belly, and panang curry with mahi mahi. Everything was delicious, fresh, bursting with unique flavor, and portion sizes were more than generous! Please go to Pranee's Thai if you're in Hana. They're located by the school underneath the massive mango tree. You can't miss it! ❤️🤩

Excellent food!! Be prepared to wait. This place was a gem we found on our trip to Hāna. They have a small place with plenty of outdoor seating with views of the mountain. The food was hot and spicy - just like we asked for. We ordered the drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice and Thai Iced teas. Highly recommend.
