Velzyland Burger Restaurant

Named after a fav surf spot on Oahu, Velzyland delivers really good burgers and fries (if not The Best). No extra frills needed -- just quality meat, fresh baked buns and cheese. Really easy menu too so youre not thinking for too long. The flavors speak for themselves. We got the Velzy Burger and the Pattie Melts. Both were excellent. Cant say I could recommend one over the other as they were different. Just get both! We also got large fries to share and it was just right. It's definitely small inside. Limited seating so dont expect large tables. You can always find a spot outside or on the lawns. Better yet just pop the trunk and tailgate with your meal and good stories. 👍🏽

The food is EXCELLENT here! My husband had a bowl of their beef stew... it was packed with flavor. I had their burger (I asked to have no cheese on mine). Their burger had this delicious grilled onion flavor that just elevated this burger. The potato buns are made in-house. The french fries were delicious, fried in beef tallow. No seed oils! We also enjoyed their freshly-made juice made from sugar cane and lime. The owner served us & was very welcoming. If you want great food, and encourage the local economy, this is the place to stop. We stopped here on our last day on the island, right before we had to return our rental car. Keep in mind, seating is limited (they share a corner location with a shave ice location)... but still worth the stop.

We loved the burgers and fries here. Reminded us of in and out our but better. Super fresh ingredients smash style burgers (double patty) hot and perfectly seasoned with cremated onions. Make sure you tell them no cheese if you don’t want cheese because they come with cheese automatically. I didn’t know that but the owner was kind enough to redo our order because of the misunderstanding when I called in th order ahead. The price of the fries reflects the quality and you can absolutely tell the difference that it was cooked in beef tallow. If you’re eating paleo try their burger wrapped in lettuce it was delicious and they wrapped it in a way that made it easy to eat like a burger. Very little seating and prepare to wait as it’s a small staff but once you try you’re gonna be hooked. We have a few good burger places but this one absolutely hit all of my checkmarks and the fries sauce was delicious. Extra points for having a fry sauce and adding a little bit of smokiness to it. Just levels it up. Looking forward to trying their burger wrapped whole menu. In the same building as ululani’s kehalani
