Stillwell's Bakery & Cafe

We were on our way to the airport and decided to stop at this bakery. Boy did this place not disappoint. We got the noodles with beef and they were delicious and it was large enough to share for two adults and a kid. The desserts were incredible. I got a cream puff and my husband got the banana cream pie and they were heavenly. We loved the service and when we come back we will make sure to make this our favorite stop. Highly recommend. Yum! What a great little spot for locals and travellers alike. I had a mishap and spilled my coffee. The staff was kind and thoughtful. They kindly replaced my coffee. More reasonable prices than down near the shoreline. What a cute patio too. It was worth the cycle up Ka’ahumanu Ave. Thank you Stillwell’s!

Ok here goes, those of you who follow, two private chefs that travel with our boss to his properties all over the world. We've had the best of the best and so much so that I rarely ever get coffee unless my wife makes it, those who follow may remember Jack's coffee in East Hampton NY, never the same cup twice😏, Stillwell's is incredible, been coming here for a week and the coffee is incredible every single time. Triple shot vanilla Carmel latte ☕ with half & half = will change your life, smiling gal at the counter always happy, great pastries, today got the eclair, having grown up in NYC buying an eclair anywhere but Magnolias is risky = THEY NAILED IT!!! GO, EAT AND ENJOY BEVERLY HILLS PRIVATE CHEF APPROVED!!!!

Great pastries and service. Our last stop before the airport for some goodies to take home! Covered outdoor seating. Cream horn is famous for a reason. Crisp outer pastry and light cream. We could’ve probably eaten 100! The pineapple upside down cake was a seasonal and it was just alright, not the best cake. The lilikoi cheesecake was so sweet and creamy. Free parking lot.

The macnut pie was so onolicious! The coconut cream pie is really good also. I cant wait to try the other desserts.

Stillwell’s Bakery & Cafe in Maui is a hidden gem. A small, simple, and super affordable bakery where everything tastes fresh and homemade. The lillikoi cheesecake is a must try. It is perfectly creamy, not too sweet with passion fruit flavor cutting through the richness. Macadamia nut pie is also worth trying. Definitely worth a stop.

Stillwell's is thankfully under new ownership from its founders. MENU: Breakfast items, sandwiches, soups, salads, noodles, desserts. FOOD: Reuben Hefty portion of toasted whole grain with generous amounts of filling and a caesar salad to the side. Highly recommended. Pastrami & Crab Cake Sandwiches The bread wasn't toasted but both came thickly-stuffed with fresh ingredients. DESSERT: Coconut and Banana Cream Pies I'm far from having a sweet tooth, but I've always loved banana cream pies. At a recent party, a whole pie was divvied up and I scored a slice. Oh my goodness. Why did their filling have to be so delectable and creamy? Why did the bananas have to be so fresh and flavorful? Is it to make up for their sucky service? Is this yin & yang? I'll never know. The crust on the other hand, wasn't the greatest in terms of texture and taste. Cream Horn Every time a box of these are brought to the office, one woman in particular squeals with joy. Her food mating call is warranted though, as these are really good. The airy, cloud-like puff pastry is filled with a perfectly-sweetened cream filling, dipped in chocolate and dusted with powdered sugar. But, don't inhale through your mouth as you devour it as the powdered sugar will inconvenience your gluttony with a cough, LOL. SERVICE: A whole lot better with the new owners that took over years ago. FUN FACT: The building once housed Wailuku's Kentucky Fried Chicken and Little Caesars. OVERALL: Very good sandwiches, salads and desserts.
