McDonald's - Wailuku (Kehalani Village Drive)
About
Convenience in the Heart of Kehalani
Positioned right within the bustling Kehalani Village hub, this McDonald's serves as a reliable anchor for locals navigating the slopes of the West Maui Mountains. Whether you are grabbing a quick breakfast before heading toward the lush Iao Valley or needing a familiar meal after running errands in Wailuku, the location provides efficient service that fits into a busy island schedule.
Atmosphere and Local Flow
The dining room features a modern, clean aesthetic that reflects the newer development of the Kehalani area. Large windows invite plenty of natural light, offering views of the surrounding neighborhood green spaces. It is a popular spot for morning commuters and families living in the nearby residential subdivisions looking for a hassle-free meal. You might notice that the drive-thru line can move quickly, though it occasionally creates a slight bottleneck during the school-run hours, so keep that in mind if you are on a tight timeline.
Menu Staples
Beyond the globally recognized Big Macs and World Famous Fries, this site maintains the classic golden arches standards that make it a predictable favorite. The kitchen consistently turns out hot Egg McMuffins and fresh coffee, perfect for those mornings when the tropical mist is rolling down from the nearby peaks. The staff manages the high volume of traffic with a level of local hospitality that keeps the queues moving steadily, making it a functional choice for anyone in the Wailuku region needing a reliable, fast-food dining experience.

Definitely a bottom tier McDonald's. No drink refills. They are no doubt a delight to the owner because they handout salt pepper and other condiments as if the employees were paying for it themselves. They simply refuse to work with you in line.. You must use the kiosk if you wish to order. There are no alternatives. Senior citizens are sent blpacking after being ignored. Employees chatter on in a foreign language, ignoring you while you stand there waiting for an extra napkin. Pass this place up if you can.

Ordered Uber eats. I ordered tenders and fries and a mcdouble. Tenders were delicious, fries were old and garbage tasting, mcdouble was dry, old and disgusting. On top of it all they didn't give me any dipping sauces that I ordered. Yep, so here I am in a hotel room with tenders and fries without any dipping sauce. What a shame.

BRAH! No matter if breakfast, lunch or dinnah. These guys is HORRIBLE. First off I when ask for one sausage egg & cheese bagel, THEY NO EVEN ADVERTISE ONE BACON OPTION. Then on one other Separate day I get one chicken deluxe sandwich. What they went do? Give me the last scraps of tomatoes? No can them, WORST McDonald’s ON THE ISLAND.

The food was good and exactly as ordered and the woman who brought our food to the table was delightful. The entire soft drink system was broken and employees require you to use the kiosk to order. You need an employee to unlock the bathroom doors -- where are we, Gaza?
