Uncle Woody's BBQ Corn at Dole Plantation
About
A Tropical Roadside Essential in Wahiawa
As you make your way through the central plains of Oahu toward the North Shore, the scent of charred kernels and melted butter becomes impossible to ignore. Located right on the grounds of the Dole Plantation, Uncle Woody's BBQ Corn has become a rite of passage for visitors exploring the interior of Wahiawa. This isn't a sit-down affair; it is the quintessential grab-and-go snack designed for strolling through the plantation gardens.
The Flavor Profile
The operation is simple and focused. Ears of corn are roasted to bring out a natural sweetness, then slathered with generous amounts of butter and a signature seasoning blend that hits a balance between savory and slightly spicy. The result is a messy, satisfying treat that drips down your hands—keep a stack of napkins ready. While you might find yourself waiting in a short line under the intense Hawaiian sun, the smoky aroma drifting from the grill makes the wait manageable.
What to Expect
This is a high-traffic tourist stop, so expect a lively, bustling environment rather than a quiet culinary retreat. The space is entirely outdoors, placing you right in the heart of the plantation's energy. It is an ideal pit stop for families or travelers looking for a quick bite that captures a specific kind of roadside Americana, albeit with a local island twist. Because it sits in the middle of a major attraction, parking can get tight during peak midday hours, so plan your visit for the early morning or late afternoon to secure a spot nearby. If you are craving a rustic, no-frills snack that defines the Dole Plantation experience, this stall is the definitive choice.

Is there anything better for dessert than a delicious corn? This is so good, you should definitely try them out, they have three different preparation options where you can chose from, my favorite was the butter, sea salt and black pepper and the guy who is selling them is super nice and the corn it’s just $5 dollars each, super cheap.

THE BEST CORN!!! Sure, it's $5 per cob but it was worth every penny. Make sure to get the #2 Baja Corn - you will not be disappointed! It's grilled and slathered with butter, mayo, parmesan cheese, lemon lime juice and baja seasoning. Don't miss out on this awesome roadside stand!
