Maui Mike's Fire-Roasted Chicken (96 S Kamehameha Hwy)

A very cozy restaurant, the food is very tasty, especially the chicken, it is soft and juicy, it has 6 sauces and they are all delicious. It is located in Wahiawa.

a Tasty local chicken joint, good flavors and sauces. The Cajun fries were really good and also the Mike’s melt sandwich. Also their specialty grilled chicken is a must try. Also they give you one of the playing cards which is used to call out when your order is ready like for example king of hearts.

Great food for a great price. The chicken was delish, and I really enjoyed the Lava Hot sauce. Love that everything is celiac safe (except for the bread and teriyaki sauce). I’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time there my son is stationed here in the military. He was 21 yesterday when we visited there. What does that tell you about the place? That’s where he wanted to eat for his 21st… The fries were amazing. I would definitely recommend the half roasted chicken all was good, but it was definitely better than the wings.….

Chicken itself was pretty good, i do wish i got the chicken on its own instead of in the sandwich because the bacon and cheese did hurt my stomach (its good if you like that combo with the chicken tho) and it was no spicy at all like they advertise. The hot sauce is just a buffalo sauce too. The soda was either watered down or just was sitting too long and lost its carbonation. The fries were pretty good and worker was really nice!

I have to admit, I’m a bit late with this review. I’ve been going to Maui Mike’s for lunch for about 20 years. I consider their chicken wings and indulgence that I let myself have Max, once a week. It’s a simple healthier preparation than getting them somewhere else where they’re fried, because here, the chicken is fire roasted. The flavor mixture keeps me coming back. The service always answers the phone with great energy and there’s an upbeat team environment behind the counter that you’ll observe as soon as you go in to the location. Some genuinely well mannered people that work there. Five star all day. Consistency definitely long-term. The buffalo chicken wings with the sweet potato fries, smoky barbecue, one lava hot sauce, will get you right. Take it from me. You will not be disappointed!

So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.

Fresh chicken never frozen rotisserie fire roasted chicken!! Well seasoned and if that wasn't enough comes with various different dipping sauces. Whole feast is big enough for 2-3 people depending how big your appetite is. Could possibly even finish the whole thing by yourself. Parking is located in the back. There are no bathrooms available on site.

I got the #5 BBQ bacon 🥓 chicken 🐔 melt! My goodness! It was AMAZING!!! Plus the fries were great! I’ll definitely be back! Service was nice! To top it off, the hott sauce was to die for! I wanted to buy it but they make it in house. So no bottles lol.

Stopped by Maui Mike’s as we were driving the road to North Shore, after eating so much poke having some fresh chicken and fries was a much needed refresher. Don’t brush this place off and drive by, the chicken was really juicy and flavorful. Prices here are amazing and all the combo options make for a great lunch meal. The staff were all really nice and saw lots of locals here so it’s definitely a fan favorite.
