A Slice of Wahiawa History

Sitting right in the heart of Wahiawa, Old Town Pizzeria & Tap House has become a central gathering spot for those navigating the transition between the North Shore and Central Oahu. The space leans into a rugged, industrial aesthetic that feels right at home in this historic plantation town. You will hear the constant hum of conversation mixed with the clink of local craft beer glasses, creating an environment that feels lived-in and unpretentious.

The Craft of the Crust

This is not your average quick-service shop. The kitchen focuses on hand-tossed dough that carries a distinct chew, providing a sturdy foundation for their generous toppings. Their menu leans into robust flavor profiles, favoring fresh garlic, herbaceous tomato bases, and melted mozzarella that pulls just right when the pie hits the table piping hot. The aroma of toasted yeast and roasted garlic hits you the moment you step off the sidewalk.

Local Pours and Local Floors

The tap list is a rotating curation of Hawaii-brewed IPAs and stouts, often showcasing producers from across the island. It is the kind of place where you stop in after a long day of surfing or hiking through the nearby trails. Be prepared for a bit of a scramble to find a spot on the sidewalk or the small nearby lots during peak weekend hours, as the local crowd tends to linger once they settle in with a draft beer and a large pepperoni pie. Whether you are a resident or just passing through the center of the island, this tap house offers a grounded, authentic taste of Wahiawa's evolving culinary scene.

🍕 Back for More—and Still Supreme! 🌟 After a great first impression, we couldn’t resist coming back to this pizzeria—and once again, they nailed it. The supreme pizza was a masterpiece…again…loaded with savory meats, crisp veggies, and just the right amount of melty cheese, all resting on a perfectly baked crust that had us reaching for slice after slice. The atmosphere? Still effortlessly cool. Casual, laid-back, and welcoming—like your favorite pair of slippers but with better lighting and the scent of fresh pizza in the air. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just craving a top-tier pie, this spot delivers comfort and flavor in equal measure. Already planning our next visit. Maybe we’ll try the baby back ribs!

I love this place. It’s about 30 mins away from where I live, but I make my way. It’s just a few minutes from church so that’s a plus. They have the best smoked ribs I’ve had on this Island, so far. I just wish they offered more variety of sides, like maybe some Green Beans, Greens, Corn On The Cob.

Update: Finally got to try the garlic knots and they're worth the price of admission with the knots being perfectly textured and actually knotted rather than a lump of dough like some places. As for the sauce super seasoned not too runny and perfectly sticky for the knots. Pizza was also the perfect consistency so they've stepped up there which I can't say isn't a markable improvement. This place is becoming a keeper. Traffic was heinous so figured I'd try a new smoothie place out. I figured it was in Aiea plaza with pho time and ended up missing the lot which was convincingly hidden from those who are coming from the Aiea bowl side. If you follow the alley past it or the hill by the church the lots connect. To preface like tea time you'll need a 10 buck transaction to use any card. As for the place it was surprisingly empty and the aunty was quick to take my order down and make my drink. I ordered a strawberry peach smoothie with boba. The drink itself was massive and while I only noticed at the end she forgot the boba the drink itself was tasting amazing I almost didn't care at all. Super clean with slightly elevated taste with not unnaturally thick pieces getting stuck. I also noticed they got cheap popsicles and ice cream also and maybe I'll get some next time. Overall I loved the place and would try them again but would prolly have to order a boatload of toppings or double fist next time.

Matt gave us a true lay of the land with a genuine local perspective—great conversation and even better hospitality. He took the time to point out other local shops and favorites in the area, which really added to the experience. You can tell the food is prepared with real care and pride in the kitchen. The garlic knots were perfectly done, evenly coated in a fresh, flavorful garlic sauce that tasted homemade. The Meat Lovers pizza was crispy with an excellent balance and variety of meats—rich, satisfying, and full of flavor. The Old Town Tiki was also a great touch to round out the meal. Hands down, this place delivers genuine care and standout service. We’ll be telling everyone to come experience it for themselves.

Came here for lunch, adequate parking in the back area. Ordered two pizzas, a meat lovers and the margarita. Not to mention they were very accommodating with the extra jalapeños. Good relaxing atmosphere and the staff were all courteous and friendly. Family crowd, something here for everyone.

Since I was being treated to lunch today, I picked Old Town Pizzaria & Tap House. The Pizza here is not only the Best in Wahiawa, but this side of the Island and my 3rd favorite spot on the ENTIRE Island. I had the Deep Dish pizza called “The Barrels”. So Delicious!!! Their signature sweet flavorful BBQ sauce with smoked shredded chicken in melted cheese, with diced red and green onions. My mom and husband both each had ”The Supreme” cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, pepperoni,Italian sausage, red onion, green peppers, mushrooms, black olives, on marinara sauce. We also tried their garlic knots, one order is 6 pcs. and it comes with marinara dipping sauce. Those are a must too. Puffy soft pillows of buttery, garlicky deliciousness! If you haven’t yet, come check this awesome spot here in Wahiawa, and as always, support local! Updated: 09/07/2924 My husband tried the Detroit Deep Dish “Meat Lovers” today and said It was good. Marinara based, and topped with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, pepperoni,Italian sausage, ham, salami, bacon and grated garlic. I tried a slice and thought it was good too. I decided to have “The Barrels” again but this time the hand stretched dough style version. It has mikes original bbq sauce topped with smoked shredded chicken, diced red onions and after it comes out of the oven, drizzled with bbq sauce again and topped with green onion. It was good but next time, I will stick with the Detroit Deep Dish version that I love so much. I have very strong jaws and teeth, but the hand stretched dough version was a bit tiresome having to chew it honestly. I did however try their Cinnamon- Pie. A 6”dessert flatbread with house made cinnamon butter, brown sugar & a drizzle of vanilla icing. It was chewy but yummy! I enjoyed their garlic knots - just as good as the last time! Highly recommend this awesome spot in Wahiawa, some of the best Detroit Style Deep Dish Pizza’s around.

We recently ordered a pizza and were blown away by the flavor—it was absolutely delicious! The crust had a great crisp, the toppings were fresh, and the overall taste was spot-on. We did request light cheese due to a lactose sensitivity, and unfortunately, the pizza came with a bit more cheese than expected. However, we mentioned this in the post-order survey, and the store immediately reached out to make it right. Their customer service was truly outstanding and showed they genuinely care about their customers. We’ll definitely be ordering again!

Ordered delivery from here through Quick Cuisine. Food was great! We had the italian sandwich, 50/50 pepperoni and cheese, the Hangry Hawaiian (their signature pie) and the prosciutto pizza. Everything was delicious. This price is a bit steep though. If you want a 12" pizza, thatll run you in the mid $20s.. a 16" pizza will run you into the mid $30s each. The sandwiches are fairly prices, but I felt my Italian didnt have much meat in there (see pics). Overall, it was a great experience! I'll have to try the Denver style next time!
