About
A Social Boiling Pot in the Heart of Wahiawa
Finding a place that handles a group dinner with both efficiency and flavor can be a challenge in Central Oahu, but Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House steps up to the plate. This spot brings the interactive experience of customizable hot pot dining to Olive Avenue, allowing diners to choose their own adventure through varying broth bases and an array of fresh ingredients that arrive at the table ready for a quick simmer.
The Art of the Custom Simmer
The sensory experience starts the moment you sit down—the rhythmic bubbling of individual induction burners creates a background hum of culinary anticipation. You control the pace, dipping thinly sliced marbled meats, crisp bok choy, and handmade noodles into your choice of spicy or mild broths. The dipping sauces are where the real personality of your meal develops; mixing your own concoction of cilantro, garlic, soy, and chili oil is practically a rite of passage here.
What to Expect
The atmosphere is bustling and brightly lit, making it an ideal destination for family gatherings or a casual meal with friends after exploring the nearby North Shore attractions. It isn’t a place for a quiet, whispered conversation—the clinking of metal ladles and the energetic chatter of fellow diners are part of the charm. Parking along the main drag in Wahiawa can get tight during peak dinner hours, so arriving a few minutes early is a savvy move to avoid the frustration of circling the block. Whether you are a hot pot veteran or a newcomer looking to navigate the communal style of cooking, this local staple provides a hearty, consistent meal that warms you up regardless of the island humidity outside.

The meatballs were a little sweet for my taste, but still very good. I mixed my own dipping sauce, and it paired perfectly with the food. The ribeye and short rib beef were both excellent, and I also really enjoyed the sukiyaki soup base. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

This is a restaurant near dole plantation. It is hot pot. Each person can have a pot. It is all you can eat. Not expensive for lunch, less than 30$ per person. They have lots of choices, dumplings, shumai (really delicious, to my surprise. I like the pie inside it a lot.) The meat is also tasty too.
