Green World Farms

This place ended up being one of my favorite stops of the trip. We chose to stop here as a halfway point driving from Ewa to Laie. This place is pretty centrally located on the island. It is close to Dole Plantation if you're already planning a trip there. The Mocha Freeze is perfect for the hot weather and a walk through the coffee farm. They also offer several free samples. The day we visited they had 3 different specialty coffees (the butter rum was a hit for me) available and 2 herbal/floral teas to try. The retail shop also has a huge selection of specialty coffee in both ground and whole bean forms. They sell small bags ($6-10 each) as well which allows you to try many without committing to a large bag. Great option to bring home as gifts for coworkers, friends or family. Wish we had visited more than once during our trip.

Great place for a stopover on your way to North Shoe or way back to the city. Reasonable priced drinks and snacks. Lots of souvenirs and quality coffee beans. Their iced coffee tasted good! Best enjoyed in their open al-fresco yard with a nice view of the mountains.

Green World Coffee Farm Fact: Green World Coffee Farm is a 7-acre, family-owned coffee farm in Wahiawa, Oahu, featuring over 3,000 Arabica coffee trees. Established by Howard Green in 2008, it offers free self-guided tours, a cafe with espresso drinks, and free coffee samples. The farm roasts its own coffee daily, producing a smooth, low-acidity brew. My friend, Sheryl M. had insisted we stop here for our coffee and what an amazing recommendation. The coffee farm aspect alone is well with a peruse. Between squawking at chickens and getting a caramel macchiato, it made for a great pit stop. Just enough time to use the restroom, grab a beverage, look at their extensive gift shop, and take a gander at the coffee trees. If you're heading over to the North Shore and are a coffee enthusiastic, Green World Coffee Farm is well worth a visit.

If you're visiting the island and have your own personal means of transportation, this place is a must-stop especially for all those coffee lovers. You can try and sample their most popular coffee brands, as well as their season exclusive teas. Bonus views of the mountains, their farmlands and greenery all around the shop too. It can get quite busy and crowded during the weekends, but it's all the worth it when you're doing a road trip across the island. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable about their stuff. I recommend visiting Green World Coffee farm!

Very cute coffee place, lovely decor, good selection of coffee. Pretty pricey but its hawaii so what do you expect. They can grind coffee for you and give you free samples which is nice, and the staff were all sweet. I got a hibiscus cooler, it's pretty good, but a little acidic.

The Experience: This is the perfect place to stop while driving up to the North Shore. ​The Tour: They offer a free tour that covers the history of the farm and shows you the different kinds of bean trees. It’s a great way to stretch your legs and learn something new. ​Roasting: You can smell the freshness because they roast the beans right here on-site. ​The Coffee: ​Selection: They have a huge variety of various coffee beans to choose from (lots of flavored options too). ​Service (Star of the Show): The staff really makes the experience. Special shoutout to Sam—he was the best staff member we encountered! ​Verdict: A fun, educational, and tasty stop. Don't drive past without grabbing a cup!
