Overview & Vibe
Tiki Iniki brings a vibrant, eclectic splash of mid-century Polynesian kitsch to the North Shore of Kauai. Tucked away in a Princeville shopping center, this local favorite defies expectations. Far from the sterile, resort-style dining found nearby, Tiki Iniki leans into a gritty, authentic tiki-bar aesthetic. With dim lighting, bamboo accents, and an infectious, high-energy atmosphere, it is the perfect spot for travelers who value character over polished marble floors. Whether you are looking for a lively happy hour or a casual dinner with locals, the friendly bartenders and quirky decor create an unforgettable Kauai dining experience.
Menu Highlights & Must-Try Dishes
The culinary offerings at Tiki Iniki focus on elevated American bar fare with a tropical twist. While the menu is extensive, a few items stand out for their flavor profiles:
- Island-Style Pulled Pork Sliders: These are a guest favorite, featuring tender, slow-roasted pork served with a tangy island barbecue sauce that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
- The Ultimate Tiki Burger: While consistency can vary, when ordered to perfection, this burger is a hearty, juice-drenched classic. It pairs perfectly with their selection of craft beers.
- Signature Lava Flow Cocktail: No trip to a tiki bar is complete without their signature libations. The Lava Flow here is rich, creamy, and visually stunning, perfect for cooling down after a day at the beach.
- Vegetarian Garden Tacos: Catering to diverse palates, these fresh tacos are loaded with seasonal local vegetables and a zesty house-made salsa verde.
Insider Dining & Tips
Tiki Iniki is a popular local haunt, and seating can get tight during peak dinner hours. Reservations are highly recommended if you are planning to dine during sunset or on weekends. If you happen to be a walk-in, aim to arrive before 6:00 PM to secure a spot at the bar, which is the heart of the restaurant's social scene. Don't be afraid to chat with the staff—regulars swear by the service, and the bartenders are often the best source for hidden island tips.

Great dive Tiki Bar. Bartenders make it!
Awesome tiki themed dive bar in a shopping center strip mall setting. It odd but awesome! Loved the amazing cocktail menu and lots of beer options. Wine was limited but the cab was a good. We did not eat, but people said the food was good!
Fun bartenders!
VictorB

Choose elsewhere
We all know when you are on an island you are trapped for what you have to pay. Ok, I can live that. $30 for a below average burger though is steep.

When you are asked for your burger to be cooked medium and it comes out charred and not a once of juice you know the cook has no idea or doesn’t care about what they produce to customers.

Try the sandwich place nearby if you are hungry, it’s probably a better option.
