Thai Lao

To begin with, I’ve visited this place for years… Ordered to the go last night: Sticky rice = white, brown areas and couldn’t even scoop it out of the container. A block! Drunken noodles didn’t have any chicken. Evil jungle curry and pineapple curry. Same broth! Questionable “chicken” pieces. Horrible experience! It was empty when we picked it up. I wonder why?!! Never again!!

Always a nice dining experience here. The staff is friendly and the food is so good! My fave is the curry, fried chicken, and pad wood sen! But anything there is good.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great portions. The service was fast, friendly and efficient and the portion sizes were great. I got take out but there was plenty of seating and I’ll definitely be back

Used to be our favorite Thai. Last Feb had amazing dine in. Last night pad thai meh and very small portion. Place empty. Also panang curry good flavor chicken gross. Should have known asagio and pho 1 place was packed last night no parking. People r voting with their feet

If you want a Panang Curry that is rich and leans into the nutty flavor, this is the place for you. I liked there cozy atmosphere.

Good place for dinner when seeking Thai or Lao cuisine. The Pad Thai was good and the beef larb was fine. The beef larb was on the sour side but tasted fine. Thai coffee and tea was good too.

Thai Lao has been our favorite Thai food spot on Oʻahu since we moved here a year ago! The flavors are incredible, good portions and the food is always fresh and satisfying. I’m obsessed with their Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice so flavorful and perfectly balanced. My husband swears by the Panang Curry it’s rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of spice. The staff is always welcoming, and the place has a cozy, local feel that we really love. We’ve tried a few other Thai places, but nothing comes close to Thai Lao. Highly recommend if you’re craving solid, delicious Thai food with aloha!

The food and service were incredible. I had the Pad Thai and my husband had the Drunkard Noodles. The medium spice was spicy so beware if you don’t have a high spice tolerance! The Spring rolls were so good too! No free soda refills unfortunately. Good size portions. Overall 9/10.
